I also asked Loranns if their flavors contain 2,3, pentanedione and acetoin and they said "if any of those ingredients were in our flavorings, we would list them on the ingredients list". I didnt realize they had an ingredients list other than "natural and artificial flavorings". Dismissive or a statement of safety...up to you.
I did notice a diacetyl-free disclaimer on the butter listing, which is cool. Unless, you know, the "artificial flavor" includes 2,3 pent. and/or acetoin. It's getting... trickier to decide.
ACM, I lean closer and closer to diy'ing exclusively with FA's vape Heaven line. We know they're diacetyl free, we know that he doesn't use 2,3 pent. (not sure about acetoin) for those flavors, and we know that he supports disclosure of diacetyl in the flavors that he sells that aren't created specifically for vaping.
Do you know any vendors that use the vape heaven line? I am really confused now on e-fluid now. I know to watch out for the diacetyl but the other chemicals? Any suggestions on vendors? Thanks! I just do not want to die. My friend just obtained a diagnosis of stage four epiglottis cancer from her years of smoking/drinking. I just don't want to be vaping something that will harm me.
We'll all go sooner or later, but I'm with you - I'm in this for the harm reduction. I'm sorry to hear of your friend's diagnosis, that is so scary.

I'm probably going to DIY and just buy directly, but Nikhil at PureVapes carries them, and he's SUPER about disclosing diacetyl... I'm going to look into them as a future supplier. I also want to check with JC and BWB (my favs) to see what their take on all of this is. I am really not interested in trading one life-threatening lung disease (cancer) for another ("popcorn lung").
Thanks you for the info! My friend thought it would never happen to her! I even tried to get her to use the e-cig. BTW she is still smoking cigs while going to chemo/radiation!
Just so you know, there are several suppliers of FlavourArt rather than getting them dirctly from Italy. Liberty Flights, Ecigexpress, R and R Vaporz, and Pure Vapes are good vendors that carry FlavourArt in varying sizes.
FYI: I emailed Don at Backwoods Brew about this and he confirmed that none of his juices contain any flavorings made with diacetyl, pentanedione, or acetoin. Good thing, too, because I am finding his juices to be among the very best I've used to date.

I'm glad to see some are still posting here. The point of this thread though is to vote on if the letter in post 1 should be made a sticky...initially I'd suggested the supplier forum, but that might not be the best place. It is a starting point but might not reach all of ECF suppliers there.
