We are not going to win by playing politic with FDA , big pharma and big tobacco. We will lose every time. They got money and resources. We need to call out FDA for what they really are. They don't really care about public health. They are there to protect big corporations.
It's common knowledge

There's a Love-Hate relationship
On one hand the public hates FDA being in bed with BP
On the other hand ... No one wants the FDA to take their "drug of choice" off the market.

Forcing people to sign a Petition kinda Invalidates the Petition. Makes it the View of the ECF and not the Views of the People.

That and it is Against the Law to do so.

I see where it would skew the legit petition signatures... Guess they could move on to another site that doesn't give a crap. - None-the-same, I respect that fact.

Yeah - Don't know the laws on this so good to know

Maybe just a pop-up that says "If you like/love to vape and it has made a positive impact in your life, don't hesitate following this link to keep the vaping community and business alive."

I don't know - just throwing out some ideas to help the cause.

I don't think it is common knowledge.
Not to the degree we know the FDA
but often I bring up the subject, for example, in the waiting rooms
waiting to see a doctor or waiting rooms at hospitals. Most just smile
and say ... "We know".
Do they know all the facts we know ... Nope
However ... All FDA Approved drug commercials include
a long list of disclaimers including the possibility of death
if you swallow the FDA Approved poisons.
The public "gets the message"

They did put up a yellow band notice at the top of every page, maybe you "x'd" it off?

I understand some don't want the gov to have their info...

I agree - It would be better to have the CASAA come in after the gloves come off vs. during the name calling/pushing, shoving.

I only wish I had a better understanding of what our "True Battle" will consist of...
Ck out Bill's 1 post #1. Hope it help's with the "True Battle"
And Petrodus are you tryin to get me in trouble with the trolls again!!

Thanks for the explanation there Kristin.

Even at this late stage of the game is it not worth changing it though, when people start throwing stones at the vaping community I can see them saying things like even they consider them cigarettes, I'm not suggesting we try to change an already established name (e-cigarette) but more that we as a community no longer consider it "smoking" or them as "cigarettes" regardless of what others may say they are.
I guess the word "cigarette" has so many negative connotations associated with it I'm loathe to use it, and it's a shame we will be forever connected to that term.

I know I'm a newbie and I hope I haven't annoyed or irritated anyone with this, apologies if I have.

I never use the 'C' word. I do not use c>>>>>>>>, I use PV.

2)What is your fear ? That they ban ecigs as we know it.

Only one vender for juice?

3)With BT in the markets now, is FDA going to point them and say this is .....

I'll tell you my Irk. And that is people who call e-Liquids "Juice".

To me, it plants a Psychological Association between e-Cigarettes and under-aged vaping. That and the entire “Save the Children” from poisoning thing.

Anyway, I guess that is just me.

Good grief, your blood pressure must be sky high.....
During the hearings in December, they already brought out the minor and ecigs.
Grouping Analogs in the same light as ecigs. Didn't even Google before they showed up for the hearing.
You can't reason with people that don't listen.

Maybe you answered this in your post but you used too many big words for me to understand (I'm not being sarcastic, seriously, I'm simple minded). Why do you not like e-liquid called juice? I frequently call it juice and am curious.

Of course I also call my PV an ecig and regularly refer to cartos as carts. In my world, where I frequently deal with other simple minded people, if I use confusing terms like personal vaporizer I would just get confused looks. Ecigs are now wide spread enough that if I use that term then people generally know what I'm talking about. And I don't have to go through a 20 minute explanation of what a personal vaporizer is just to have the other person say, "Oh an ecig". Which would have to be followed by another 20 min. explanation of why it is NOT an ecig and why I despise that term. Which would just get me labeled as a snob and that person would be less likely to talk to me in the future. Lol! That wasn't really supposed to turn into a mini rant and is in no way directed at you Zoid. My fingers just kind of ran away with me.

You can ignore that last paragraph, I still want to know the answer to the initial question.

Small point but worth mentioning.....the biggest response I get when smokers ask about my PV(Provari) is they tried ecigs but werent satisfied. We should all carry Friend Tips at all times. I think if every smoker had a chance to see what a REAL PV is all about and how satisfying it is, there is a better chance for them to switch. I write down on paper the link to ECF and good starter kits from good vendors when asked. Though Trying a Good PV is a "sales pitch" like no other!

I've been doing this for years.
As we ALL Know ...
The ONLY way for a smoker to Really Understand IE "Get It"
is by trying out a good unit ... Not just being told about e-cigarettes.

I never ever leave home without a few blank unopened carts.
When a smoker asks the "Big Question" ... I pull out a New cart
and say "This is a brand new never before used mouth piece ...
Would ya like to give it a test drive and find out for yourself ??"

When they take me up on the offer ...
Everyone here knows what comes next ... "WOW"
:)
