Or are you talking about a black market type thing?
Maybe you answered this in your post but you used too many big words for me to understand (I'm not being sarcastic, seriously, I'm simple minded). Why do you not like e-liquid called juice? I frequently call it juice and am curious.
E-cigarettes are typically designed to resemble conventional cigarettes, cigars and pipes. There are also products that look like pens and USB memory sticks. They are being marketed to young people and available in flavors such as chocolate and mint. This raises a concern for health experts that these products may increase addiction to nicotine in young people.
Because since Day 1, one of the false accusations we have been fighting is "Public health experts expressed concern that electronic cigarettes could increase nicotine addiction and tobacco use in young people."
FDA and Public Health Experts Warn About Electronic Cigarettes
In the media, these claims have been amplified, with the spokesperson usually a Public Health official or a doctor who has probably never seen a real e-cigarette in his life, or ever talked to a smoker who tried the recommended products and treatments only to fail over and over and over again.
A "concern" that they "might be" grew into declarations:
Pharmacy News
The logic goes that fruit flavored (or other pleasant-flavored) liquids will make kids want to try out e-cigarettes, and then they will be addicted to nicotine, and then want more nicotine so they will switch to smoking. There is not a shred of evidence that any of these things have happened. But they appear in almost every news story we see.
So please, please, don't call it something that might make a young child think you were being literal and try to drink it. You wouldn't call anything else that is poisonous by a name like "juice" or "ice cream" or "candy" that might make little ones think "I want some too."
"They even call it 'juice'," could be something that the ANTZ (Anti-nicotine and tobacco zealots) add to their arsenal of lies against ecigs.

I would also add to Elaine's great points that "juice" sounds like very strange slang to non-users, so it could bring to mind illicit drug or alcohol use, ie. "get juiced up." (Same reason I don't like people using "take a hit" and nicotine "buzz" in public discussions.) Additionally, "tobacco juice" is the stuff tobacco chew users spit into cups and sometimes on to sidewalks - another negative connotation for non-users to associate with e-cigarettes.Because since Day 1, one of the false accusations we have been fighting is "Public health experts expressed concern that electronic cigarettes could increase nicotine addiction and tobacco use in young people."

Has anyone got some back up plans in case "the unthinkable" should happen and we can't buy nic juice, mods, cartomizers etc????
I can't afford to stock pile, and even if I could I'd eventually run out. Yeah, black market, or something, anything. Or maybe it's best to not worry till the time comes? idk what to do to be honest...

Of course I also call my PV an ecig and regularly refer to cartos as carts. In my world, where I frequently deal with other simple minded people, if I use confusing terms like personal vaporizer I would just get confused looks. Ecigs are now wide spread enough that if I use that term then people generally know what I'm talking about. And I don't have to go through a 20 minute explanation of what a personal vaporizer is just to have the other person say, "Oh an ecig". Which would have to be followed by another 20 min. explanation of why it is NOT an ecig and why I despise that term. Which would just get me labeled as a snob and that person would be less likely to talk to me in the future. Lol! That wasn't really supposed to turn into a mini rant and is in no way directed at you Zoid. My fingers just kind of ran away with me.
You can ignore that last paragraph, I still want to know the answer to the initial question.

I'm not to sure about that. Seems more like they want to keep the revolving cash cow merry go round' well greased...
Smoke, then try to quit using FDA approved NRT's-start smoking again because the NRT's don't work-Try to quit again, etc, etc,...
Why hasn't our government put Big Tobacco out of business by now? Shut them down, lock stock and barrel. Cigarettes are killing people, isn't that enough? I want a answer to that very simple question without "politics" being used as an excuse.
Like was said in another reply. Tax money......but not only just tax money but jobs. Think about something, and I hate saying this, too. BT actually employs a LOT of people, from the tobacco farms, the the manufacturing plants, to the distributors, to the stores selling them. Then on the flip side BP employs a lot of people dealing with the downsides of smoking. Think about what would happen if everyone stopped smoking and just went to vapping. You would be putting a lot of people out of work. It doesn't take as much to create our products compared to cigs, and BP would not have to make as many NRTs or other items. So ironically by making it a *sin* but not making it against the law they are making big revenue and keeping jobs.
Ohhhhh Agree 100%...Whats REALLY sad is it may put a serious dent in the revenue generated by hospitals, doctors, hospice care, oncology, and such. To many Jobs lost, major upset to the economy.
Ahhh yes "Major Upset/Unbalance " to the economy....Love your Country-Hate your Government...
The "intellectual progressives" believe they know what is best
and they will decide what will and will not be allowed.
Anything that is not politically sanctioned should be forbidden...
not because of the harm to the individual but enjoyment without
government sanction is considered wrong.

Funny that 'they' have become what they despised most. That which sits in judgment of societal sins and promotes selflessness over self-fulfillment.
Maybe it is about this at all.
Not about Right or Wrong. Or Good versus Evil.
Maybe it is just about Money. Or should I say. Who gets the Money and what form it comes in.
That's the rumor !!I'm thinking a good old fashioned revolution is in order.
