No the tip goes in to the grooves...do not push the grooves into the tube! Look at the product pictures on the site and in this thread...

Wow!, got mine in today,ripped open the package , opened the small box , removed the tip,poured in the juice,replaced the tip,gazed at it for a sec. then put it on the eGo batt and stated to vape,so easy.great taste and vapor production..ahhhhhhhh nice!
read about the tip,it's supposed to go further in???. won't go,so tried the flat black tip from the new thick rope clear fluxomizers, and fits perfect. won't have to worry bout losing the tip..

I'm a relative newbie. My expience is just about limited to 808 cartos. On the notion of 'drip tip,' I'm uncertain of the precise meaning of 'drip.' I understand 'dripping' I believe in the sense of pulling the cap off my 808 carto, turning it at a 45 degree angle and dripping down the side of it to touch it up or to fill. Will someone explain the meaning of 'drip' in the context of 'drip tip?'

2. Will the 510 model be the same resistance as these 808's (@ 2.4ohm) or will they incorporate the 2.1ohm resistance?looking into lower ohm and/or a higher ohm
3. Are these exclusive to GotVapes? Or will we be seeing these at all of the popular vendor's sites?To be honest We only care about what gotvapes.com gets for its customers and we work hard at getting our customers products that no one else has and getting them Exclusively first for all of you, We work closely with them on improvements and other stuff and have a great relationship with the factory, if someone else does sell these it most likely wont be for a long time. Our deal also gives us improvements we helped with exclusively first and only at gotvapes.com, The same pertains to the turbine and many new upcoming products

I may take the plunge for the current version, I am a bit curious why they start out with 808 vs 510 though.

So will the native 510 Vortex be a bit thinner as to allow the use of the cones without modification?

i am not certain about that emmit but i will look into it and see what can be done, i do have cones that fit it perfectly, some cones are thicker then others, so we will either have them adjust vortex which might not happen since we want to keep that tube nice and thick but it will be looked into or we will carry the cones that fit them on our site.

Drip tip is a mouthpiece that generally goes on an atomizer in place of a cartridge. It has a large hole in it so that one can drip juice straight onto the atty.

So, someone mentioned in the begingin of the thread that some Drip Tips do fit and work with inner tube as well as preventing leaks. Could someone add a link to the specific drip tip that was mentioned. I was not able to figure it out and I do like to get one to use.

Could someone explain how the juice gets down to the bottom wick? I see there appears to be a gap between the outside wall and the "dome" part that sits above the coil. Does the wick stick outside this dome between the outside wall in the gap area?

Do you mean 510 to 808 adapter, we have both so be careful which you choose, if you have a 510 battery then you need a 510 to 808 not the 808 to 510. dont want you to get it and then be unhappy.

Just a heads up. If you order more than 1 pack of the Vortex, and you want an adapter you will need to order them separately unless you want as many adapters as packs. I found this out yesterday when my total wasn't what I was expecting. Unless it has been fixed, it will order the same amount of adapters as packs you order.

I should add, I caught it before I finished checking out.
