I have used my Vortex on my eGo battery and my Mod @ 4.2V. I'm using a 75/25 mix. On the eGo, the Vortex is working good. Good flavor, vapor, and TH. And I am back to back vaping. No dry hits. On my mod, OMG what a difference. I am on my 5th refill and the Vortex is still going strong. I really don't want to put it down. It's like when I first started vaping! So far no issues with leaking or dry hits. And like I have already stated, I am back to back vaping. I don't know what the life time is on the Vortex Carto, but I am half way through my 5th fill and its still working as well as it did from the get-go. I haven't even picked up my eGo Tank since I started using the Vortex. Chris or Dan, what has been your experience regarding the lifetime of one carto? Also, any chance of making the Vortex bigger, say 2mls? And, are you working with your distributer to come up with some kind of stopper so the juice will not leak out if it should accidentally be turned over?

The Vortex is so much better than any Carto, CE2, or Tank System, I have used so far. Thanks Got Vapes!

It hits well with nary a compromise.

I usually could use mine a few, 2-3 days, before I thought I might need to clean or open up another one but it all depends on your juice. I noticed these stay cleaner in the cart for a bit longer period of time than a CE2...

Now I'm getting real impatient with my mail delivery. Tracking still says Flushing so I know it hasn't made it to my local post office as they are supper good about updating when items come in in the morning. It's probably sitting in Wisconsin or Minneapolis right now. The suckyy part is that I am at the end of the route so my mail doesn't arrive until sometime between 2 and 6 even though it gets to the local office at 6 am.

I've found that those mail tracking sites don't always tell the truth...sometimes they don't update, or hit changes where they aren't scanned at all, etc....

I've had several show up at my door step while the tracking website says they're still at the opposite end of the country.

I do almost always get them on time (Unless I"m not home and it won't fit in the mailbox...so they leave a parcel card insted...bummer).

Well, the tracking thing says mine is still in NY, yet I am vaping on one now. I must be omnipresent. :) My first thoughts are that it's super easy to fill, tastes great and so far no dry hits. I'm using a standard 510 battery. My only thoughts for improvement are cosmetic. It is too big to fit in my PCC with the tip on. The 510 version will be too long altogether if the tube is the same length. I think I might see about replacing the outer tube with one from an old carto and cutting down the center tube to fit. For me the only reason for a clear tube is to see the juice level, but with this design I would only need to pop the cap off to see where the juice is, so I don't really care for it being clear. I'm also at the opposite end of the spectrum on the volume of juice I need to have in any given device. Again, this thing is so easy to fill that having a little less juice in there isn't really a big deal. Are you guys planning on carrying a regular sized version or are they all going to be XL? Is everyone able to use a drip tip without leaking? I think the hole in mine would allow juice to slip past the inner tube and come out...

ETA: I HATE modding things, but these are awesome enough that I am totally willing to make a few ONE time changes to make them perfect. :thumb:

The lifetime depends on your juice and vaping habbits but 7 to 9 fills before it might need a dryburn, I call that a success while others feel a disposable product should be able to be cleaned forever but that isnt the case.lololol

ive dry burned 2 times and went many refills then moved on to a new one, but that was for testing, I dont need to go through the hastle anymore between the turbine and vortex and the ce2, i use them and refill them many times and when its done its done, if it was a special carto ill save it for cleaning and if it wasnt the best one i toss them.

the company would like you to toss them after 4 fills but thats expected from the makers of the product, its disposable.lol

im using the new crystal flux tobacco, very clean, doesnt gunk up much so im sure this vortex will last longer, but in another im using geoffs blend and that gunks up after 5 fills to 6 fills

Mouth-piece is definitely too loose. When taking out my PV with Vortext from my pocket, the mouth-piece came off and I spilled juice all over me. For vaping around the house, it's no big deal, but when taking it outside, this could be an issue. Perhaps using a drip-tip will be better.

The drip-tip works well. I've had it laying on its side on the desk, upside down, etc. with no leaks. So far these are WONDERFUL!

My first Vortex problem:

Yesterday I vaped two tanks of Flux Nectar Dew @ 60/35/5 - 7
Filled it with Tasty Vapor Tobacco @ 80/20 to see how fast it would change flavor...it did great...vaped over half of that tank and put it away.

Home from work this afternoon, I picked up Vortex again where I left off. No more vapor, but the coil is definately still working. Toked and tinkered...still no luck. Poured the juice out (back into its bottle). I took ALF out...put it back together...no glue or anything for extra sealing, shot in just a few drops of the TV Tobacco again...and it worked :)

Next...Tasty Vapor Atomic Cinnacide @ 90/10, as I was curious to see how this plastic will deal with a juice known to eat CE2 Clearos.

Good news...It still vapes like champ (without ALF).

Bad news: Atomic Cinnacide has turned the plastic nasty and cloudy looking like it did with the CE2. An almost INSTANT reaction.

Safe to vape and just ugly? I don't know. Since this design also uses the same kind of plastic for the inner parts...it'll probably be a good idea to keep some other carto types around for these kinds of juices.

At any rate...I'm over 4 refills and still going.

I love this flavor...but it reeks havoc on my clear drip tips and clearo/vortex sleeves. So far, it's the only juice I've run into that does this (at least this badly and this quickly).

With the Clearos, I found Green Apple to physically destroy the plastic within SECONDS- no exaggeration. The plastic literally fell apart in my hands while I was still filling it. So I would be leery of using any Green Apple in these. Unfortunately Green Apple is one of my favorite vapes- guess I stick to normal cartos/atty's for my Green Apple vaping.

Confirmed. Drip-tip fits Vortex well, and the juice doesn't leak out even when held upside-down. Would be nice if the loose mouth-piece issue could be resolved for next design (perhaps for 510 thread?) since I do like the soft-feel to it. So far, using 3 Vortex with different juices for 2 days and the performance has been great.

I'm actually lovign the mouthpiece...it is a little looser than our betas but I actually prefer it as it is easier to cap after a refill. I am not havign any real issues with it coming off but then again I don't usually carry mine in a pocket or whatever...

One other thing, before you automatically put a drip tip on these TRY them with the mouthpiece that comes with it...the feel on the lips is exquisite...
