Super T currently has the best looking 26650 mod, to me at least that's the best one I've seen.

Just looked at it. I don't care for the top cap, is there one that doesn't slant as much in ? I think of all of them I've seen the Hades is tops.

Thought I would never say this about a GP Tube. With much affection and appreciation for those that enjoy the size, a 26650 is one I may have to let someone else have :).

I'm impressed, no bigger is better jokes yet from the Sunday crew. No one? hmmm.

But would it not match your pizza box hands well ? I'm not 100% sold on 26650 but I know that King P could do it very well.

There is no doubt he could. There are a couple of groups on UK that enjoy them but, I have not seen them rise in popularity to their smaller sized competitors. Many are just looking to find a stable mod to have enough room to test ohms law on drippers...well most, duh. The Congestus seems to be popular for a few of them in the UK. The tube is enormous. I am not a fan of tele tubes either. Owning a few in the past I find them cheap looking these days of sleek looking tubes.

I love this reverse looking switch, but sometimes I find it hard to tighten the switch to the tube firmly then unlocking the switch without it loosening the switch from the tube. Any tips on this?

I just put a bit of force on the lock ring and push it towards the tube while turning when that happens.

It's easily avoided though if you screw the switch on first.

The switch itself will break in to a finger flicking smoothness. Two of mine are there now with a couple to go.
As you install the switch have the switch on fire a bight tight and by the time it screws on it will be in the locked position but not to tight.
I lock and unlock my new switches when Im sitting around to hel break them in.
The 2.5 switches also took a bit of time to break in but, after a bit of good use they were buttery smooth as my v3's are becoming.

That must of been a replacement top cap. Here's the one on the site.

You guys are talking two different mods. The one with the slant cap is the Shockwave and has been discontinued for quite a while. The one currently on the site is the Simplicity 26650 and a completely different mod.

That pic was the Shockwave, which I don't think will be produced again. It does taper down to 22 or 23mm. The new 26650 is a bottom firing design with a flat top cap.

Yes, thanks for the clarification.

thats what I usually do but when im using the hybrid adapter, I take the battery off from the switch side.

Hows the quasar? I get mine on Tuesday....hopefully.

I think my switch is pretty broken in as it glides alot better. Its just when I tried to tighten the switch to the tube, no matter what I did to unlock the switch, the whole thing would loosen lol.

Ill try the ideas though even though ive probably tried them. My current solution has been to tighten it and then put a finger and/or finger nail pressing down on the switch while trying to unlock it.

I'll say it
"It's not the size but how you use it"
