That’s a nice looking setup. I need to think about a dual battery mod with the Clapton coils I’m addicted to. I run through batteries pretty darn fast.

As for tanks, I just ordered my third Wotofo SMM Serpent. Super easy to build and great airflow. Flavor is excellent. It’s 24mm diameter, 4 ml capacity in a low form factor, so it looks great on small mods. It came with 2 extra glass tanks, which appeals to my inner klutz. At $24 it’s nicely affordable.

The wide bore drip tip is ugly! Aged Tupperware - ick! But I got used to it.

Wotofo X Suck My Mod Serpent SMM RTA

I bought another because I had completely taken apart the first one to clean it when I got it. Ever since then, I think the inner resistance has been funky. Pretty sure I messed up the positive pin somehow. Any mod I put it on ends up jumping around reading the coil resistance. Sometimes it’s perfect, then I refill, pop it back on and resistance goes bonkers. After months and over a dozen new coils, take aparts and cleanings, I’m giving up on it. I didn’t take the positive pin apart on the second one, and it’s rock solid. I won’t make that mistake with the new one!

I've always had AT&T and have been ok with them....No cell carrier or cable company is going to be perfect. Way back when I got my first cell phone AT&T had a go phone with no up front cost and Sprint wanted $1000 up front.

That’s what I thought, or maybe a stray metal shaving in there. Took it out and scrubbed the tube and the pin. Still no go. The pin tightens upward into the insulator, but I can’t get it flush. That’s the only anomaly I could find. I’m stumped.

I've always had AT&T and have been ok with them....No cell carrier or cable company is going to be perfect. Way back when I got my first cell phone AT&T had a go phone with no up front cost and Sprint wanted $1000 up front.

They had always been good to me too. But their packages are too high compared to others. I’d love to switch. But our building is thick cement which affects reception. ATT gave me a free mini cell to boost the signal, no charge. That was nice. But I’ve been with them for 15 years and even si5 a business account, they just aren’t competitive in price.

Yesterday was the first time I seriously thought about changing my cable setup. This brought up a number of questions. Like how do I hook up a streaming device and keep my surround sound? After doing some looking it seems like my best way at this point is to use my laptop just as I have been. After all streaming devices aren't much more than an interface to make the app work. And my laptop has more than enough power to do the job. Thing is I've had my TV for 8 years and sound system for a little less. They don't make plasma anymore but that's the way of things.

See I've avoided looking at new stuff for the last couples years. Because I just knew the upgrade bug would bite me. Last night I was looking at new TV's.. I got the bug..But I don't think that's going to happen soon. The new HDR tech has the cost up so need to wait for it to come down some. There's a new format war going on with HRD tech. I think HDR Dolby Vision will win the day on that. ( I know you don't know what I'm talking about) Neither do I really because I just started looking into it.

So my crazy little cat got tangled in my legs today. She has a knack for timing her cross of your path perfectly with your step. Usually I just stumble, but this time she ended up spinning and sinking her claw deep into my foot. Yikes! Feels like her claw hit to the bone. It was all her fault but now she acts all offended when she’s near me. Typically feline and female.

Isn’t the sound system running from your TV? What’s the connector for your surround sound?

No the TV speakers are turned off. The cable box is plugged into the receiver (HDMI) another HDMI is plugged into the TV. I do the same with the laptop. Plug in the HDMI from the laptop to the receiver. The signal is split so the video goes to the TV and the receive handles the sound. I set the laptop to show only on the TV when I do this so the laptop screen shuts off.

And the Directv Now app doesn't work on Edge but it does on Chrome... Which I have on PC and laptop.
