We're approaching an inch now. Can still see the tops of the grass blades but wont be long and they'll be covered. Don't know what we'll get. 1 - 4" depending on where you live. It warms up starting tomorrow so it wont be around long.
The natives love snow here. They just go crazy for it and root for it. As for me, 38 years in Chicago was enough for me.And they are interrupting regular broadcasts for that?
So weird... that's what we got here...
Opinionated I'm sorry to hear about the trip that was a bust. Glad you could get the vehicle repaired though.
When I got up the wind chill was 6 degrees this morning. The temperature is 17 now. I don't know how cold it was at dawn, but surely it was close to a new record.

Just hopped on "Nextdoor", our community website for North Raleigh. Covers about 2500 people in 22 neighborhoods. The thing is lit up. HAHA! People posting, "How to Drive in Snow" articles.
I try avoiding replies on that website. There are some who don't appreciate my sense of humor...especially the Mother Hens.I would reply.... if you are asking, dont even try it....
Someone posted there was a new Papa John's opening up. I told them their box tastes better than their pizza. I was told to sell my house and move to another state.I would reply.... if you are asking, dont even try it....
Pretty hard to get practice time in.as I mentioned earlier, the Kenner police did a full 360 spin on Williams exiting a gas station.... and these guys are supposed to be trained hard core in driving techniques... guess they didnt train them for icy conditions![]()
