I want to add a bit of contrast with coral, either another pillow or a blanket draped at the ends of the beds. I'm not actively looking, just keeping an eye out when I'm out and about. I seem to find things better that way and much less stressful than actively searching. It gets frustrating when you're on the hunt and absolutely nothing makes you say 'That's it'. That's why it took a year to find the dining room fixture.

I need to do something in the corner of the dining room. It will find me in time. LOL
Lime green with aqua or turquoise gives a real bang, but then my "favourite colour" is "bright orange, canary yellow pillar box red and lime green" :D

The red door was done before I knew anything about google searching, lol! I am not crafty or creative. Now I just find a pic of something I like and imitate it.

April, would love to see pics of your desk/chair project. And Robin, when you get the day bed and room settled I wanna see that too!

ETA: It's definitely beachy colors. I love the beach and don't get to go neary often enough..:(

And some manly deco done tonight.. DH made the back board from old barn wood and a piece of leftover plywood. Skulls are mostly Kaden’s.

Hmmm. I hadn't thought of lime green. My minds eye was more into the coral. Think I will keep lime green as an option while looking. :)

had an interesting driving experience about an hour ago...

Im driving west bound I-10 and noticed a set of headlites that seemed a bit out of place... they got closer and I realized some idiot was in the left lane of the westbound side traveling east .....

I moved into the right lane and watched this fool go by at about 70 or so... I was like "White Turkey Feathers!!!" Does this person not understand whats going on??? should have noticed the road reflectors were red, all the signs on the roadside were "backwards", and oncoming traffic on a divided hiway????

Needless to say, on my way back, low and behold there were a couple of state police, 2 wrecker trucks loaded up with what looked like cars, and debris all over the hiway ( both sides of the interstate).... I guess somebody got messed up...o_O

Thank goodness that has not happened to me but it does happen to hubby occasionally. He now makes sure he has nothing to eat after 6:00pm.

Guess I'll get my food run done early.... Was looking at new phones because my Galaxy S4 Active is showing its age. Not in any major way because I put a new battery in awhile back. But these days a phone that is 3 or 4 years old is past it's time. I was thinking the Galaxy S8 Active but the S9 is due out in a couple months. And it has some big improvements in it. So I'll have to think about it for awhile.

There are also rumors about the Galaxy X in the works. Hope this doesn't make anybody's head hurt...

David - I have broken several phones. Everything in a big truck takes a beating, as I am sure you well know. About a year ago I googled "rough service phones" and the best was made by Caterpillar. Yes, that Caterpillar. But they cost $700 or more.
I went with the Kyocera Work Pro. A durable phone with a Sapphire Screen, and the Android app. Couldn't be happier. Toughest phone I've come across.
Just my opinion, worth what you paid for it....

Hey Bronze, I know you take great pride in keeping a coil forever and a Sunday, but how often do you change the wicks in your tanks ?
Remember, I am used to squonking. Rinse out the bottle, change the wick and go...
With the Dragon's Fire I change wicks about every 15 - 20 mls or abouts. My Apache (a dirty NET) about every 5 - 10 mls. I'm changing coils more often too with TC. Probably every 50 mls. They'r spaced and more prone to being deformed. And I noticed they tend to wig out more using SS/TC versus kanthal/power mode.

I'm not hard on my phone and the S4 with only an edge guard has taken a few falls without any trouble. A new phone is part of the reason I'm looking. If I upgrade to an unlimited phone plan I could get free HBO and $15 off my Directv Now. And the HBO would be included on my Directv Now. I wasn't in a hurry to get a phone but the deal I'm looking at looks good. But I'm going to think about it some more.

It never ends. My Harman Kardon PC speakers are going on me. Discovered it last night. Turn the volume up anything past 40% and you can hear it wigging out on the left side. Doesn't need to be plugged into a sound source. Thought I was done messing with electronics. I guess not. And I just soldered a new phone jack on that thing (which was a pain). So I bought a 2.1 Logitech PC speaker set. I've been looking at PC speakers for the last month because I actually bought a 5.1 Logitech for the bonus room television. I have to say, for the $$ you cannot beat Logitech speakers. They are not the best but then you aren't paying squat for them either. They make several models. I got the Z313s for the laptop. The 5.1 I have was $60 (now selling at $54) on Amazon. I have to say I was shocked at how good they sound. Clearly not as good as my Pioneer/JBL system in the living room but then that cost me the better part of $1,000 back in 2005ish. Logitech owns the lower end speaker market and I can hear why.
