Nascar ratings have been tanking the last 5-10 years. And with no Little E this season I see that trend continuing. Sad.It's time....

Hope everyone is doing well.
I just finished up a 4 day International Women’s Conference and am all full of love, peace, inspiration and serenity. Missed 4 nights of the Olympics so I’m getting caught up and doing housework.

It took me some time to get used to seeing alcohol in grocery stores. In PA, you can only buy booze at a State Store. Beer at a licensed beer distributor. Not sure how that helped anyone except the state bank account. Still had the usual amounts of alcohol abuse and driving drunk.
Thus concludes my weekend of tackling certain culinary skills! I’ve only done two batches of pasta, two different dough recipes, but gained a lot of confidence. For some reason, I love working with dough.
Finished up today with a homemade pizza. I made it so I could try out the pizza knife that arrived today (a day early on the delivery). Wow! So easy! I used to use a bread knife and burn my fingers every time. This cutter lets you simply press and rock. Voila!
Nothing like the right tool for the job.

Good Morning Army. Looks like today will be spent on the phone with Insurance Adjusters, Triage Specialists and HR Manager. I miss my truck ...
BK, when I was in Leesianna (isn't that how it's pronounced ?) there were drive thru bars. There would mix whatever drink you wanted, put it in a styrofoam cup, and hand you the drink and a straw. The legal interpretation was the buyer put the straw in the drink, so the seller was not complicit.
Here in the Tarheel, you can get beer and wine in the grocery, but for liquer you have to go to a State Store, or the "ABC Store". Alcoholics have to keep a supply so they don't run out overnight.
