Retic, I am trying the new dns you mentioned. For some reason it is reverting to Cloudflare. I did flush the dns cache, so that isn't it. I restarted after I changed the settings too. If you have any ideas, please post them or send me a pm.
Not a clue when it comes to W10 , the last update wiped out my DNS settings and reset them to automatic . I only use Winbloze for two games and literally nothing else or I'd be a helluva lot madder about it . You can try this .
    • Open the Windows PowerShell as Administrator
    • Use following command
    Set-DnsClientServerAddress -InterfaceAlias Ethernet -ServerAddresses 84.200.69.80

I’m still thinking this dns thru. More curiosity than anything. Someone correct me if I’m wrong. If I set up the dns in my router then anything that communicates with that router will go thru that dns. If I set up my device with the dns then all communication in that device goes thru that dns regardless of where that device is used. Have I got that about right?

Would it also stand that if the dns is set up in the router there is no way a winblows update can reset it?

I ask cuz after kk said hers got reset I noticed my laptop setting was on automatic. I’m 99% sure I set up cloudfire in my laptop so mine might of got reset too.

If it's set in the router Winbloze update can't touch it .
