I've settled on Dewalt 20v tools. I'm not sure they're any better than, or as good as, anyone else. But they're everywhere and they've been dependable for me. And once you have a few batteries, it's hard to switch to another brand. That's how they make it hard to leave them.

Dewalt makes good stuff. My drill is a Dewalt. Had it for years. Sees a lot of abuse. A little pricier but worth it.

I use a lot of power tools for my work . My main drill is a 1/2inch spade type used for mixing thinset (definitely overkill for the post above) and is a dewalt . This drill is 8 years old and has mixed up perhaps 10,000 buckets of thinset which totally amazes me. I have only had to replace the brushes in it a few times, so it's been a very good tool that had costs me about 160 bucks. Thinset puts quite a strain on the motor, as it's kind of sticky in a way, so it's been a good investment. I also have a dewalt angle grinder and wetsaw, also pretty darn good for Chinese product. My favorite tool is a fairly big chipping hammer which is about 10 years old and is a hilti. This hammer has ripped out hundreds of old floors and is definitely quality. Also have Metebo and makita grinders which rock as well. All these tools see a lot of use and are close or over 10 years old and are still going, on the other hand my brother buys from harbor freight and has to replace his stuff every year or two.

Same, I was reading about all this squonking on here and started looking into them.... then I thought WAIT I just spent all this money on rta stuff and I'm really enjoying it so came back to reality LOL

How are you enjoying that reaper 3 so far?
I simply cannot put it down....I have only used bobas in it so far, so it hasn't been thru its paces yet (my complete judgement only happens once I see how it performs or tastes with all my juices), but so far its totally awesome. Looks like the darvw, but a more solid feel and flavor seems fuller. If it wasn't for the weirdness of the jc and if the af ring was attached, I could easily buy a couple more.

I'm wondering if any warranty issues are dealt directly with the manufacturer.

Usually Amazon provides a 30 day return. They recently enacted a re-stocking fee for certain reasons for the return, but usually you can get a refund or exchange. After that the manufacturer's warranty covers it. BUT you have to read the fine print of the item on Amazon's page to see if it's excluded from returns.

Happy Sunday! I’ve been working last couple of days. Watching the Ted Tapes on Netflix while puttering around the house. I’ll head out for a hike in a few hours. Lovely sunny day out there.

Hi April! I hope your hike and your whole day was lovely. Now you have to share what kind of drill you have.

I have like 7 adv , 5 which are hhv juices and DF is my fav. One thing though, is I find DF to be the touchiest juice I vape. Perhaps it's just coincidental, but it seems all my other juices aren't touchy in terms of wicking, as they always taste great, but for some reason DF has to have an absolute perfect wick job . Although I have been rebuilding for many years, there are times when I rewick and after the first vape I know the wicking is a bit off and I have to rewick, and this seems to happen with DF then with any other juice I vape. Is this just me, or has anyone come across this too? Perhaps it's more sensitive to higher wattages then other hhv juices and because I vape it in the 23 watt range, the wicking needs to be perfect?

I actually have noticed that DF is touchy about wicking. It's my main ADV, so I could be wrong. If my wick is too thick, I can tell right away. Other flavors are in the same kind of tank, same coils, same wattage. I never notice a change in flavor that makes me realize there's too much wick in there. I'm vaping at 50 watts on a .26 ohm coil. Since I'm at much higher wattage than you, I don't think it's the wattage making the difference. When I get the wick right, the flavor of DF is perfect.

We're all here for you, and so sad to hear about your GD's tragedy with her house and "kids". That's absolutely horrible.
She is so heartbroken and I am so frustrated that I can do nothing for her. She doesn't even know if she can live there again without her dogs. They truly were her "kids".

Then I'm not crazy perhaps. Come to think about it, your right about wattage because when that wick is off, I turn down the power to see if it makes a difference and it doesnt... I just think it's a delicate flavor...50 watts ? I thought I was high[emoji3]

Well, our ice maker went out. Darn thing won't fill with water. I have read that the ice maker is the most frequent fail on a refrigerator. I guess I do some looking into how these things are fixed.

    2 main things to check...
the contact bar ( ice level) switch and/or the water valve solenoid relay... also might want to check continuity/ohms of the solenoid too...
