only took 27 years to quit. Picked up my first vape gear 9 months ago and haven't lit up a smoke since.
Well... the first time it took a couple of weeks of vaping and smoking and I eventually just stopped smoking as the vaping was all I wanted. In fact when I ran out of carts I was upset and not wanting to smoke and anxious for the mail. But then I got stuck on a trip and went back to smoking. I'm back again and going the same thing again. I tell people it's not an all or none thing. It's a migration. I'm still smoking some and decreasing everyday. I was a 2+ pack a day (PAD) smoker and I'm now down to less than a pack a day and decreasing everyday.
It's different for everyone. Don't judge yourself or make yourself feel bad if you still smoke. It's a process of finding the right hardware and finding the right juice and nic level that works for you. Once you do thing will just progress naturally where you vape more than you smoke and eventually you won't smoke and you'll just vape. Let the process happen naturally and don't put the "I'm quitting" pressure on yourself it doesn't help.
Welcome to the forum and take it day to day. If you're personal goal is to quit then keep it in mind and when you want to smoke maybe vape a bit more. Don't punish/guilt yourself for when you do have a cig. It's a process... as I say A Migration.
I can't even tell you how much your post has helped me....thank you...
