My list of trash brands includes:
  • smok (numerous 3rd party complaints)
  • Voopoo (numerous 3rd party complaints, plus asinine name)
  • Aspire (for the broken battery door on my Speeder)
  • joyetech (unreliable, leaky equipment)
  • Kanger (awful, leaky coil assemblies)
Any new brand is assumed to be trash by default, especially if it only materialized to take a slice of pod pie.

Standing ovation for Geekvape and grudging approval for Vladdin.

I have no experience with the rest, but my wife has an Aspire Skystar that she has been using for over a year as her only mod with no issues. Not saying that means it's a great brand or anything, just relaying her experience with one model of that brand.

my understanding is that on the continuum of mod quality SMOK is on the absolute bottom and everyone else in a much closer cluster well above that. Within that closer cluster, a few companies have had problems with specific devices. Wismec has 510 connector issues on a few models, Tesla had battery door issues on one model, and there were isolated hiccups from other vendors as well. Nothing is close to SMOK though where a generally reliable device is the exception rather than the norm.

Yup one box + one coil = one box of coil.

Seriously not sure they try please or piss their customer ......
That's crazy, but also typical. Of all the products in my life I have purchased, Vape manufacturers have been the dumbest, most frustrating and ignorant industry I have ever dealt with when there has been a problem. Aspire kept ingnoring me, Innokin though they seemed they wanted to help was like dealing with the 3 Stooges who were being told what to do by Gilligan from Gilligans Island and Voopoo were "oh so glad to hear you love your mod, would you like to write about it" Im "huh? I never said that, It wont work, I want it fixed or replaced please its just 1 week old" then they ignored me.
So Smoks the same as the rest of them. It's like dealing with dumb and dumber isn't it.
