Good, noalox impossible to find in Spain. This is a good alternative? Loctite 8151

CDDZ or Halopunker,

I went to Lowes today to get Noalox. Unfortunately all the people that work at my local Lowes have all had their brains removed. They know nothing. They only pick up paychecks there! Four different people sent me to 4 different departments. I even went to customer service. NO LUCK!

Can you tell me what department you found it in? Maybe - post of picture of the product so I can find it on my own.

Thanks!

Forget Lowes, they're so stupid it's a wonder they can remember to breath. Just order it online, you're likely to get some stuff that's the wrong thing, like the idiot at Lowes sold me, a silicone POWDER for locks, real fine powdery stuff that will cause your SB to seize up. The soap trick worked for me though and solved the problem after this second issue. Ugh! I just ordered the NoALOX from Amazon.

As far as polishing, yes, the Mother's stuff is amazing, but it leaves a nasty smell/taste on the SB, which is kind of annoying. But it sure is pretty. :)

I'd like a black bullet too, and a blue one and a red one and oh what the heck, a gold one too while you're at it please Santa.

Ohhh man, oh man!! I went for a batt change (with Break-Free in hand) and I BARELY got the sections apart!! After only one day it wanted to seize up completely!

It is much better now with the Break-Free, but not as gliding smooth as the first time I cracked her open upon receipt. I am going first thing in the AM to get that Noalox.

Do you have all those high voltage models pictured?
If so which one do you like the best?

Thanks, Paula

I'm sad/mad at myself. I was getting out of the car this evening, and my SB fell to the gravel driveway. I now have 3 little dents in it:( SMALL, but I know that they are there.

It looks like I will be on the look out for some high grit sand paper to shine it back up.
OH NOES! 1000grit will lessen the nicks, 2000 will get it ready for mothers polish. Mine has several battle scars.

On my way out the door to go pick up some of the mothers polish when I remembered I had some Brasso somewhere. I found it and gave it a go on my SB. I bought mine used off this site and it hadn't really been maintained. Now with the exception of a few minor scratches it looks fantastic. Not bad for something I already had.
