Since you're looking at using about an inch and a half of resistance and about 3 inches of no resistance, with 1mon each item you should easily be looking at about a dozen or so coils and wicks...give or take a few.

Your multimeter should have this symbol Ωm for ohms, Imeo posted a video on how he measures the ohms before cutting the wire, I don't remember which video showed this method maybe someone else can recall.

sorry guys but here's another question, the ohm of the iatty is depend on how long or short the resistance wire is being make? for example if i want to make 1.5ohm, what length of the resistance and non-resistance wire should i cut out?

This is true Painfreak...for 1.5 Ohm I think is 2cm for the resistance wire (not the whole lenght.just the clear resistance part)... The no resistance wire (x2) is about 10cm because you will need "space" to make the hole system

so the lower the ohm the shorter the resistance wire or longer? thanks in advance!
