I have had leakage with every tank I have ever tried. Only the cartomizers seem to be immune to it. What are the typical causes for leaking in tanks of this style, if they leak?

-joe

First, I have to ask, are the leaking or seeping condensation? There is a difference.

If you see a little moisture under the atty... any atty, it could be seeping condensation.

When you vape, there may be some vapor left in the atty. It has to go somewhere so sometimes it will seep out in the form of vapor or condensation. Bottom air-flow attys are more prone to this.

Leaking is something different, like liquid dripping down your mod.

One thing you can try to reduce the amount of condensation seepage you get is to continue your draw after you let go of the fire button. This will pull all the vapor out and reduce the chance of condensation.

Is the body anodized or painted? Thanks for the chance.

Innokin would be the correct one to respond, but I don't believe they are anodized, I believe they are painted or coated.

So if the question is.. will they chip with rough use or over time and unfortunately, the answer would be yes.

Phil & Dimitri I have two Siamese cats. Will the vapor from the vg harm them if I vape around them?

I have two Persians and we vape around our little furballs all the time. BUT... that doesn't really answer your question.

My opinion would be no, but that's just an opinion. I'd ask your vet for the correct answer or for some additional guidance.

I'll have to catch up later, got a job interview. I did want to say (whether I win or not) it's really neat to have you both coming to the thread and answering questions.

Also, another VOTE for pink, although purple is fun too... :)

This is a very cool givaway, mostly because you guys are doing this. :)

Anna

Our pleasure!!

Hey Phil i have been a vaper for 6 years now and i have been buying and collecting all kinds of mods and tanks since. The one question that i guess i have is every time i look at a video on youtube it really looks like your vape produces way more vapor then any of my mods seem to be able to put out so my question is is it just the camera making it look like its more then normal or am i missing something ?? And BTW thank you for the contest !

Hey zip! Come on over and we'll compare!! Certainly could be the camera, although I've had other people tell me my camera reduces the amount of vapor they see.

I'm really not doing anything special and I show you the EXACT builds I do in the RTA type videos.

And remember, the mod doesn't make the vapor. It's just a power supply. So it's not like you're going to get more vapor production from one mod over the other (and if you do, there's something wrong with your mod!!)

HI guys..bought you Ares, need help! been vaping 7 years using primary the ego one's, mega v2. Purchased Evic primo mod and Ares in Feb. And have used everday but I can't get Ares to match anything close In flavor coil/wick longevity of ego one at 1. Or .5 0hm using identical juice 50/50 12nic, i have to change cotton everyday, coils every 2-3 days juice gets so dark after every tank. Vape at 8-13 watts Making all coils around 1ohm Using 28g kanthal, tried spaced coils, different diameters. Just went back to old ego v2, using 1ohm and I get several weeks out of prebuild coil, taste better, no dark juice. What am I doing wrong? Thank you in advance for your questions and suggestions..
I don't want to buy another rta but the Ares is high maintenance.

Ok, let's see. First we have to say that taste is subjective as is flavor. I've noticed that some tanks I like, others do not and some tanks I don't like, others do.

As a matter of fact, I even answered a similar question in a review I just put up regarding another atomizer:

"Ok Buster, so I've been screwing this damn thing up and down for the last half hour (you're welcome :) ), and here's what I found and it backs up a theory I have. I've been testing all the way up and all the way down. First, I don't notice a huge amount of change. Second, either setting would work fine for me when it comes to flavor. Third, I actually find the flavor to be better all the way up. BUT! What is "better". Better is subjective to my taste. I've always thought there was a "sweet spot" for flavor, but that "sweet spot" depends greatly on the vapers themselves and the liquid being used. Too big and you lose flavor. Too small and you lose flavor. However, depending on the liquid you're using, the flavor profile, and the type of vapor you are, the "correct" or "sweet spot" chamber size will depend on those variables. Hope that makes sense. :) BTW - I think this... "I've always thought there was a "sweet spot" for flavor, but that "sweet spot" depends greatly on the vapers themselves and the liquid being used. " is one of the main reasons you will hear someone say they love an atomizer followed by someone who hates it. ;-)"

Now... as far as you changing your cotton every day and coils every 2-3 days, I gotta ask you what kind of liquid you're running through that bad boy?!?!

Phil..first thank you! You care and have passion for the industry as a whole...I respect your opinions hence why i bought ares..I'm using vape mall and Mt baker..50/50.. 12nic.
Extra flavor added always
Vape at 9-13watts...coils are usually 2.5. And at .97 resist..
But this tank is high maintenance gunk and black oil after every tank but don't get that with ego clr and prebuilt....what gives? Btw nice touch with your hidden symbol when you slide open,..plus built quality rocks..

Also flavor is only subjective when you have something to compare it to...your Ares starts great and finishes like a fat man in a marathin...lol
