Yeah, thanks. I saw in one of the reviews that he modified the 510 attachment, replaced the bottle with a higher quality one, and sanded the battery contacts lightly. I could easily do that.

My next research project will probably be finding another squonk rda. I only have that Reomizer whose cap fits very loosely.

Any recommendations? I'd probably use a single coil around 0.5 ohm.

I'm very happy with the vapefly holic rda, if you like a fairly tight restricted direct lung.

The vapefly galaxies mtl rdta is also excellent, high flavor, includes squonk pin, a looser draw than the Holic when you fully open the AFC and side airflow slots on the deck. (Don't worry that the name includes "mtl" - it's excellent rdl) On the galaxies I ended up JB welding the set screws for the side ports in the open position, since that is perfect for me.

I have a new p67, 2 magnets fell off in first 2 days,, glued them back. But 1 refell out last night,,, 1 magnet seems fine holding the door on.

The bottle is not good,, especially if you are starting to have hand/finger issues. A10mil bottle fits inside but I would have to grind the inside of the case a bit to make the door work smoothly,,, it bulges a bit. Meantime my supply of squonk bottles are not working out so I just ordered a few dif ones from FT in the 8 ml size..... I'll let you know how they work out when they get here. Meantime I am looking around the house/stores for spray bottles with tubes,, the tube that comes with mine is just a bit too tight. Now as far as form factor and how it works is great.

Ot,- I bought 2nudge on sale $5 a couple of months ago, both have factory cracks at button,,, relief cuts??? Overall great for handling and performance,, but 1 has pretty much collapsed,,, it has very good parts for a Frankenstein down the road.

Incase anyone is wondering,, there are 3screws holding on that square shield,,, 2 are under the magnet,,, give it time and you will see it when the mod falls apart.- had this mod been metal not plastic,,, probably a major winner

This brings up something I’ve been meaning to ask. It’s not a total thread derail but where is a good place to get squonk tubing? I picked up a squank and the hole in the bottle is so small it cut into the tubing some. So far I checked out aquarium tubing but it’s too big.

If you have a restaurant supply store near by, you can find silicone tubing there that works, they usually carry various sizes of silicone tubing for drink machines and stuff like that. Ebay has it too, just stay away from fuel lines and try to find food grade, fuel lines tend to have residual oils in them.

The purge is an awesome mod, but it is a little large with semi sharp corners. And mine does not fit a 21700 without modification to the door, so not all can accept the 21700.

There is medical tubing for breathing machines on Amazon,,. Otherwise pay attention to spray bottles at regular stores.

I wanted a Purge while back, but they sold out & I moved on.
Technically I have enough stuff from old mods to make a few squonkers/ mods now

Here is a pic of a mech I have that collects dust on my shelf, but sounds exactly like what you are wanting @Baditude

Fire button is on the side, corners are fully rounded, it is small, full mech, super comfortable in the hand, and large squonk holes on both sides which could help for arthritic hands.

May I ask why that one and not the other one? I like the more rounded edges of the first one.

A Hugo Squeezer, another Boxer clone, was the first mech I rebuilt. I found it a PITA to rebuild. It had an oddball 510 cutout, I had to enlarge the squonk cutout, and drilling the positive contact for screws, while doable, is nice to not have to do.

The s-rabbit looks like it has a large enough squonk cutout (no dremeling to enlarge it), and the positive contact is held in place by two plastic tabs (no futzing around with drills/screws to put in a new, good, contact). The 510 I won't know until I get it; I automatically assume I'll be replacing it with an mm510, my preferred connector.

I just ordered an s-rabbit, will know in 2 weeks what rebuilding it is really like [emoji3]

The Reomizer part of that has changed a lot, because these days there's a ton of BF-ready atomizers ready for squonking. The door issue can actually be remedied to a degree if it's too loose. Rob posted a video on youtube a long time ago showing how to bend the door slightly, such that it fits without the magnet (he did this because someone had the magnet come out, which is fixable, but this is another way to do it). Seems to hold it in place pretty tight, actually.

Anyway, just mentioning it. There's a lot of options out there. Hope you find something you love

Mine is an ultem with stabwood/resin hybrid door. 20700 fits fine, 21700 just won't let the door close all the way. It teeter totters over the battery. I will get a pic of it and post it in a bit.

What is your desired price range? I have a few suggestions, but knowing what you want to spend can really narrow the options down.

I'm willing to spend maybe upwards of $120 for a "quality" piece that fits my want list. $50 for the RDA. I'm not particular whether its a clone or not, unless someone knows why not to get one or the other.

Here are the pics. No battery straps, just the battery and bottle inside. First pic is the squonk hole side pushed down, second is the other side pushed down. Even a light touch makes it teeter totter back and forth.

That’s a nice door, I’d not seen that option. Does it have a groove cut into the inside of the door counter the battery or is it flat all the way across? I can only speak on the aluminum door but it has a space removed that may not be an option with the stabwood.

@Don29, I’ve played through the scenario of it falling, hitting the sidewalk and chipping a chunk of corner off, it would be brutal. I’ve decided to keep this one as a house mod and not take it out.

I actually can't find it either. It may have been part of another vid or something. I did find what Rob posted on the REO forum ages ago, so here it is in all of it's porcupine-typed glory: "A simple bend of the door it will be snug as a bug .This is one of those things were if I do it myself in the shop some customers are unhappy if I don't others are unhappy its a no win for me .We have happy flickers schlick schlick and some folks hate the sound. Pull the door down just past the top of the plunger hole bend it slightly slide the door back on it should be tight .If you go to far you can bend it back" -

In a separate post he specified to pull the door down so it's even with the top of the bottle, then push in on the side to bend it.

Maybe mine is an older model and the newer ones have a deeper pocket cut into the door. But mine does have a cutout. Mine was made Feb 22 2018
