HAHA best reply for sure. I didnt realize they were selling products till after i wrote it lol.

"Getting scientific opinion from holistic nut jobs. Nice work. Suddenly I have an urge to dump my PG and funnel flavoured liquid up my .... to 'detoxify'"

I guess some of you might be missing the point of that guys post. Sure you can go look up info that says PG is safe bla bla, but thats exactly his point. That they will say things are safe when perhaps maybe they really arent. We live in a world where profit rules, even the food we eat is being mutated, chemically treated, all kinds of crazy bull ****. So i guess his point is, you never know! Dont trust the FDA or these studies 100 percent. I could give many specific examples of this when it comes to medications that showed postive clinical results only to get recalled within 6 months because people were dropping dead.

But whos to worry now? Tallgirl has danced around in clubs for many years till 6am breathing in the fog machine. ITS SAFE! Too bad u didnt suck on the fog machine we would have even more reliable results!

You should ask leaford to provide you with links to his many videos on critical thinking and analysis. Then reread this post.

I would break it down but based on your posting history I suspect you have no interest in answers.

Actually, I trust personal experience a lot more than any study.

If tallgirl feels OK after inhaling PG all those years and the studies seem to back her up, then it may be OK for her.

I, OTOH, don't feel so hot when I inhale a lot of it, and I can find studies that back that up, too.

So you kind of have to trust your body's reactions on this one and hope for the best since you can find some study that will agree with you if you look long enough anyway. I mean, for years I had people telling me I was going to feel fantastic when I quit smoking cigarettes and every time I did I felt like cr@p. And I don't mean just through the withdrawal phase either, I mean for years.

I've chewed that stupid gum for 2 years now and it is not the same. At this stage of the game I don't think I'd give up my e-cig for anything. I have no idea what it is that the doctors can't find, but if I have to self-medicate it with nicotine, so be it. :p

If you don't like PG don't vape PG.

You can listen to anyone's opinion you want. If it is not a scientific study, don't tell everyone about it. We can find our own EXPERTS, they are dime a dozen on the interrnet.

Every person with a DR. before his name on the intentet must be a real medical doctor, must be is true if it is on the internet.

Since even scientific studies have been doctored at times, I figure everyone has to make up their own mind. I don't blindly trust anybody, no matter how many credentials they trot out.

But like you said, it's pretty simple. If you don't like PG, don't vape PG.

Nuck be my guest, break it down all you want. I rather you do that, then make some smart remark and not even explain yourself. I am here for answers, thats why im here. wtf

And there is something else that you guys might not be realizing. Look at all the friggin cancer today that is happening. Its like a friggin epidemic and its not just targeted toward smokers, but EVERYONE. Cancer rates are going through the roof, and you have to ask a fundamental question. why? I think the question to why has a lot to do with the air we breath and the foods we eat and many other things. God only knows, It could be the plastics we use, the chemicals we use. The fda might deem all this stuff as safe and then we all ingest tons of this crap and think we are safe while we all get cancer from it. Even that nutrisweet garbage they have been using for years in sodas and candies and everything else is now said to cause cancer and its terrible for you. People are better off having real sugar than having that artificial crapola. and you know what, the same thing might be true for PG or any other chemical who the hell really knows?

Actually, I agree with you there, too. But I think it's easier for the powers that be to tell us it's all the fault of people who smoke than it is to look at this other stuff, because they would be biting the hand that feeds them.

Think about it...if we all switch to e-cigs and they can't blame everything on second-hand smoke, how are they gonna explain it when people are still getting lung cancer and we aren't smoking around them?

So maybe all those studies saying PG is OK are a good thing for us after all.....I'm actually liking that idea a lot. :thumb: Those of us who don't like it can just use the non PG quietly while we vapers take over the world, and then the anti-smoking folks can try to explain why other people are still getting cancer. :p

Yeah, I know, more vape, less beer.

paladinx, please would you be kind enough to answer my queries:
paladinx: may I just ask? Are you a vaper, and if so, how long have you been vaping for and what do you use (equipment & liquid)?

I was a gum addict as well! I was more addicted to nicotine after I started chewin the gum than when I smoked. Did you see that when cigarettes went up so did the gum? Thats when I drew the line...here I was trying to quit and NOT pay the tax hike, and they taxed my quiting gum.
I was a mega beeitch that day.

ROFL@ nucks video. That is a good one. You def made me laugh with that ****.

To the other guy. its easy, They will just blame e-smoking for cancer then lol.

To answer the other guy. I have a 901, I think i got it from thesmokelessshop. I got the marlboro high carts, but they taste a little funny, and the juice that came with it, was tobacco road e-liquid. I started using it when I first got it all excited, then after the reading the forum for awhile i stopped using out of paranoia like that rainbow bi#ch. I wasn't aware that the liquid i was using came from china, and that kind of spooked me a bit. I dont mind buying anything from china, but things you ingest ehh.. It just bothers me. So I been coming on this forum trying to keep up with the health issues and to see if there is any liquid out there that is safe or made in this country or is regulated or some crap. If im gonna be vaping this damn thing everyday in place of cigs for HEALTH reasons, I want to make sure that i wasnt better off just cutting down on cigs. hope that answers your question.

I've got grave concerns over PG and even more for VG. I'm going to vape with less and less NIC until I can just quit all this silly stuff altogether. To be inhaing PG or VP for a year or years is just asking for trouble. I've seen no sensible data that suggests it be safe. Hospitals may use to disinfect, but do they do this in the presence of patients, I'm sure not. Think of the concentration of the vapor and the frequency for which you are exposing yourself. Anybody who 'feels it is ok' is just asking for trouble. I'd even risk cancer in another 20 years than liver failure in 2 or 3.

Closest you're going to get to what you want at this point in time.

Closest to what?

I did get some 'non-PG' from them ( I assume VG? ) at 30 mg that I'll cut with VG to 10 mg. Then I'll go to 5 mg, 2 mg, 0 mg. DONE.

Even NASA finds this subject worthy of investigation:

Are you aware of any evidence to justify the grave concern or that there is a potential for liver damage?

I wasn't paying attention to the tax, but I noticed the gum went up about $10 here from one purchase to the next. :grr: That's a lot of extra money to pay for something that tastes like @$$ and annoys me at the same time.

OP, if you're worried about your liver, vape non PG and take milk thistle. I think we're still better off with vaping as opposed to smoking.
