I don't even know what to say about that.
I am order # 2220 and my EQ shipped out yesterday, August 10th. On August 6th I sent an email to DC via their official address in order to cancel my pre-order. It was a very tough decision to make, but with all of the problems being reported, I just didn't feel up to the required tinkering that comes with a first run high tech device. (Especially since I would have to quickly sell off my go to feeder mod to pay the bill.) Well....one day went by...no response...no refund. Two days...no response....no refund. Three days....nada. Then yesterday, i get the delivery confirmation and transaction approval. With all that said, i think i have developed ulcers worrying about whether this was all a big mistake. With the problems growing day after day, i wonder if i should have sent more than one email to confirm a cancellation.

Shades of Carlos, only 3x the price. I should hit the sheets.

Hopefully, this won't turn into Vapezilla/POS version 2.0 Mario and Michael have to address these issues soon. Although I cancelled my order, this PV still has potential to being great, as long as the faulty issues are fixed.

NICE!!! I completely agree...CTFO people... I think some are getting a little too heated (go ahead..flame me) We're all "early adopters" and there are going to be a few issues...It's GREAT everyone is posting their issues.. and plopping down $300 is big..but there's bound to be some issues, the main point is DC is taking care of them and like anything that is new..there may be some issues..how about being productive and making sure Michael knows these issues (Drum(?) is keeping track) like is being posted here. I don't feel a need to beat Michael or DC down as long as they take care of the issues..Remember, you didn't have to buy the first units out the gate...lets just chill a little and work with them not against them. Flame me if you will..but understand, there's a productive way to deal with this or a non productive all out flame war...

Just saying :)

Now..lets have a drink and try to make this a better place and product :)

Well this isn't one of those devices that was designed and on the streets in 2 months, it's been in the works for well over a year. The release was pushed back several times because of issues and most of us stood by because we were told it would be worth the wait and the price tag. Most of us on this thread have bought these other devices only to find out we were beta testers and with the EQ we were assured this wouldn't be the case. I'm sorry to say that it appears again we are the beta testers. With the amount of time we waited this device should only have minor issues again not the case. Anyway when you've been around as long as some of us and spent the amount of money many of us have spent then you come back and lets see how you react.

I know Mario had stated many times he got 8 to 9 hours of vape time and this is not the case. It was also mentioned that the EQ would vape SR atomizers and it does if you keep your voltage at or below 4.2 volts or reset your voltage level every 3 to 4 pulls. The whole point in using these high drain batteries is defeated if we can't even draw 2 amps from them. Then there's the case where Jimho tested the EQ and was able to fire the device into a direct short without the device going into overcurrent protection. Too many inconsistencies with the EQ is all I'm saying.

To me it feels like they beta tested these devices and made several changes and didn't run the EQ through another beta periond prior to releasing it.

Alright, make it official. Mine was delivered about 10 minutes ago. In 5 hours, I will be unboxing. I will be able to report all my findings tomorrow because I will be bringing it to work and running it all day. Fingers crossed it works properly.

Good to here and looking forward to the feed back.

Mine should arrive at DC today before 3pm PST and I hope it will be on it is way back tomorrow with a delivery date of Monday

I understand where you're coming from...however first glance at the thread name "3DFS ALPHA" I would assume that it is understood this is an alpha unit...but I wasn't privy to all the "Beta testing" that had happened with this and that you had personally been involved with the beta testing - ok cool... Im in the wrong

"Anyway when you've been around as long as some of us and spent the amount of money many of us have spent then you come back and lets see how you react." sorry...I'll go back to the noob section and stick with basic "what is a carto and what's an atty"... I'm not attacking anybody...I'm just saying why not chill out a little bit and make this a positive experience and get it handled in a civil way..was I pi$$ed when windows 95 came out and was to rock the world...no..I knew there would be some issues (they had wayyy more major issues than whats going on in here)...so call DC...talk to them is all I'm saying, or cancel your order and wait until this has been out a while and then make your decision to purchase.

Like I stated earlier....if there's issues, DC should be addressing which I'm also reading here that they are...

so..it's all good!!
