Would you please highlight the post I am apparantly missing-as I did read through the entire thread before I posted my question? Does GV plan on selling the EVOD base or the base and wick/coil combo? Currently I only see the wick -post portion. I understand that there are mixed results combining EVOD and T3 parts-I would like to try myself. Thanks for the assistance.

The bottom line seems to be that the evod base doesn't fit too well on the T3 and doesn't screw in far enough for a good seal and may accidently come apart. While it's close and some have made it work for a while, they are different clearo's.

If you want more capacity, the Kanger Pro will be released soon.

 I been using mine since last month on the same heads
Same here.
I vape a lot of coffee flavors that tend to gunk up coils.
Just did my first dry burn and replaced the 2 top wicks. Works great!
Even if you don't like to dry burn, at $1.59 for a new coil these are a real bargain.

well i no longer use the EVOD coils on my T3s,they started leaking when i got down to about a third full,so it is not worth the mess.
i have decided that i like the T3s better because of their capacity and i can see my juice better.

so i have retired my 5 EVODS as money i have thrown away.

i think i will use the evods on my little 650 ego T batts when i go to town, they fit my tee shirt pocket better the the T3s.

If you're still gonna use them then it's not money thrown away.

Like you, I use different things for different situations.

I'm sure badkolo, but I find the q tip a cleaner approach. The Johnson & Johnson Q tips I'm using may be a slightly tight fit since their tips are thicker, but not so thick store brand I bet are a perfect fit and cheaper. I'm hoping I don't need to do this very often.

flick them out orbach, does the same thing but faster, trust me

I always release the firing button a second before I stop vaping to leave as little vapor in the tube. This helps minimize condensation.
When I DO get some condensation the flick method that Bad mentioned does work well.

Just make sure you have a tight grip and don't send the clearo flying across the room :)

In my case, the bottom coils in general seem to start gurgling after I let them sit for a while. This was the case with the EVOD. It vaped perfectly last night when I put it down. When I picked it up a few minutes ago it was gurgling from the start. It seems to overwick while it sits. Except I have let it sit before and this is the first time it gurgles. Maybe after vaping for a while something happens to the wicks that lets more juice into the coil chamber, maybe they thin out or something. Anyway, going to refill it now and see. With the head off, I like the fact the q tip fits perfectly all the way through the mouthpiece and air tube for an easy and good cleaning in between fills. OK, just refilled it and it is vaping perfectly. It's a very manageable gurgle if it stays like this.

the more you vape and depending on juioce the more condensation you will build, nothing can stop that, so flicking or cleaning that out is a must regardelss of the unit

Have you checked to see if the coils are gunked up?
Coils will gunk up in any device and will eventually loose some of it's performance unless cleaned.

One nice thing about these is that by removing the center post you can gain access to the coil to clean or dry burn the gunk off. I had to do that with mine and after cleaning it vapes like a champ.

Could very well be gunking up by now but at the bottom of the fifth tank it still vapes very well with full taste and vapor. I want to see how long it goes without cleaning before I detect less than optimal vaping. The only issue was a bit of gurgling after 4 tanks and that was fixed with a qtip. No gurgling and excellent vaping since then.

I received two EVODs a week ago and have been vaping them in rotation. So far, soaking them in PGA (Everclear) has been all that I need to do. They gurgle, they get a soaking. I want to see how long I can go before a dry burn is needed. Good to know they can be dry burned as I haven't gotten that far.

One word of caution for eVic owners... When the EVOD is on the eVic, you can't grab a hold of the base. You have to grab the tube to remove them from the eVic. That's an accident waiting to happen as you will occasionally unscrew the tube from the base. The fix is to turn it upside down to remove the EVOD. Unfortunately, I've forgotten to do that twice now. They work much better on my Twists.

Sounds like you may be screwing them down too tight Dave. Nothing should ever be that tight where the tube will come off before a base will. Besides locking the carto on you also run the risk of pushing in your PV's battery post. And in the event it is too tight you can always unscrew the Evic drip well cover first and then grab the Evod base. But your inverted removal is probably the safest choice to prevent juice lap.

Well, do I feel stupid or what? I don't think I'm screwing them down too tight. I feel stupid because I didn't even think about removing the drip well cover. What a n00b I am!!! Thanks for the response!!

Well, thanks for the comment but when I overlook something that simple...

In my defense, bottom feeders are new to me as I've been a Mini Nova user until now. The eVic is new to me also. I knew the Mini Nova/Twist combination inside and out. The EVOD/eVic is a new learning curve for me. I'm sure glad you folks are here to help out!
