New innokin user here as well, not sure if I should be proud of this, but I read every single post in this thread, all 200 pages. Bonus, the MVP fits well in my truck;

Very nice, that the one thing I am struggling with is somewhere to put it in the truck. It seems to bounce around where ever I stick it!!!!

So, I just received my new MVP 2.0 a few days ago and I am thinking I got one of the first productions, mine came with 2 of the iClear 16s but my issue is that those are the only things that will work on it, not my carto tank, or Pro Tank II or Evods. Is there something I am missing, I am guessing that the center pin is too low and isn't contacting. Is there a fix to this or am I going to have to contact Innokin? So sorry if this has been asked already but I went through the first 100 posts and saw the question but no resolution yet... :(

The center pin on the MVP can be moved up. I used a pick, but anything similar will do.

I just graduated to the MVP2 a few days ago, and only just found this thread today. I'm slowly making my way through it , but i'm only on page 20 something. Sorry if this has been covered, but is there a rule of thumb for charging? Do you all like to run it dead before plugging in, or do you just top it off as needed? Also, I'm using my evods on it, but I feel like a shorter tank would look better and be less prone to snapping in the event of a catastrophe. I looked at the halfling. Any other ideas?

My recommendation is to get a Protank or other 510-connection 'full-size' device. It won't be smaller, but it will be more solid. Why? Because, with the beauty ring on, you screw down the tank, then loosen the beauty ring (it should be a half turn or less) to snug it up against the tank. Airflow should still be fine, but now any strain is split between the 510 connection and the threads the beauty ring screws onto. Try it, it feels rock solid.

Top that baby off with the new iclear30s and you will be good to go...trust me.
My MPV came with one. Will definitely give it a whirl at some point. Right now I've got 3 Evods going and am totally happy with the performance. Just wondered if there was something that might fit in the pocket better and be less conspicuous.
I guess I should have also mentioned that I want compact for portability and keeping a low profile as well as for durability, but I guess I'd probably be sacrificing something there. And I don't know if a "compact" clearo even exists (I don't do RBA's... yet).

Here's another question, and again I'm sure this has come up but a search yielded nothing, and the manual is pretty useless:
While charging, the LED does not appear to light up for me when I push the buttons. Is this normal? (the resistance/VV/VW/charge indicator I mean, on the side)

Been rocking a Protank 3 on my MVP 2 for a week now and loving every bit of it, though sometimes I wish we could go to 6 volts.

But now things are changing, got a Kayfun Lite clone in last night, and woweee im diggin it.

My PT 3 is now fighting for time on the MVP, and im thinking about adding another mod into the family so it can get a little more use.

That's a known issue/quirk/fault.. call it what you will..

You should be getting the green LED around the firing button when you plug it in to charge and that green light will go out when the batt is fully charged.

As to the two button blue display, if you push both buttons while it is charging, you will see the resistance of the coil that is in place (or non if no device is attached) and immediately after that the current state of charge (batt voltage). But it works once only, for some reason. Take it off charging and the display will light up again as usual. Just a quirk. HTH
