My brand new itaste mvp v2 is in the mail, my first mod!Have only had ego pen-style batteries til now. Can't wait.

great deal but i wish you could pick at least some of the colors, or even a group of preselected ones.
Alot of ppl hate the counter, i for one love it, it gives me an idea of how much charge is left on it before i leave the house.
The puff counter gives me the same idea of how much longer I can go on a charge. Then I check the volts left on the battery. Either way will work.
Greetings All…I received my MVP v2 an hour ago from 101Vape. Opened it put on an iclear16 that had some juice I did not like and WOW. MUCH better than on my vision spinner. So I put some juice I really like in an evod and "non". What? I unscrew and screw on a few times and all I get is"non". I swap out the head and "non." I put the evod on the Vision Spinner and …VAPE AWAY. ...? Am I doing something wrong? So I put a different Evod on the mvp v2 and again I get "non". I try the mini pro tank and….WOW. Same heads on mini pro tank and evod so here I am seeking advice. If first impressions are important then my expected love affair with the MVP v2 is not off to a good start. Please help me.
You might have screwed the 16 on too tight which pushes the fire pin on the MVP down. Take a very small knife and gently work it around the fire pin moving it up a bit then try it again. You should get the ohm reading. It happened to me using the iClear 30.
I have to say, while I don't own many mods, (Lavatube, Telescope, Indulgence, and some eGo types - twist and non twist)
this Itaste MVP2 is by FAR the best that I have used.

Big thanks to SpeedRacer12! Took a mini screwdriver and sort of wedged in between the contact pin and wall of inside the ego thread and pulled up. That did it Root Beer Heaven right now.
Obviously a bit of a quality issue with this pin as I see many others have had similar issues. I just hope over time the pin does not get more "loose".
Man this thing produced lots of vapor. Being only a month into vaping I realize I have lots to learn but I can see the 1300 Vision and the 650 Ego Twist quickly being abandoned. I got it bad.
Questions:
What are some decent full sized tanks to get for the mvp v2. (Mine came with an iclear30) (I also have 2 iclear16 and 4 evod already)?
What does the mvp2 read at full charge. Out of the box it was at V4.1?
Will it overcharge? I'm thinking about overnight charging.

I had an issue with one of my mods not firing and I raised the pin and *WHOOP* it just pulled STRAIGHT UP AND OUT of the top I gently put it back in place, did a test fire and it fired fine, but it was very shocking!
Should I stop using this mod? Is there an internal issue now? TBH, for the life of me, I can't remember WHICH mod it was... I'll have to go through those in my rotation to see which has a pin that just pulls right out and report back if mech versus VV/VW matters in this instance.

4.1 or on the rare occasion 4.2 then drops quickly. You won't over charge, it shuts itself off.

I placed my order with 101 somewhere back around post #2000, and I got my shipping info somewhere right around post #2042. I guess that makes me a "pending" member. My brushed black MVP2 is currently in San Diego so I figure it'll get here (near Baltimore) by Tuesday. I hope.
I have been using 2 Kanger EVOD VV 650mA batteries in rotation for 3 weeks (started vaping Halloween night). Both needed to be charged on a daily basis (at least). I'm really looking forward to making it through an entire day without killing a battery. The VV bateries will be my backups, and what I use when I need to carry a lighter load. I own 3 Mini Protank 2s. I love them. They are easy to clean. They don't leak, and they are just the right size for me. I'd be emptying bigger tanks to change flavors too often. I had one v1, and I have two v2s. Notice that I said "had" one V1. My kitty rolled one of my PVs off of my desk and it landed right on the drip tip.
The "extra" piece.
Fortunately, the glass survived. I found the MPT V2 drip cap / tube assy online for @2.95. I bought 2 of them because... well... the cat ain't moving out anytime soon, and she's a curious little girl. So, I'm going to end up with a Mini Protank 2 V1.5 Now I'll need to find a drip tip I like. I also snagged some 32ga kanthal wire, and two 510 bridgeless atomizers. Will these be okay for sampling juices, and just regular dripping? I realize that they are throw away items, but I am hoping I can give them light/medium use for a couple of weeks before they die.

Try the Kanger Mini ProTank 2 if you like the Evods or go bigger with the ProTank2.
You are fine as that is actually a floating pin. Innokin needs to fix that issue, but you putting it back in is fine.
Or a hemostat... I'm a Surgical Technologist! Get your mind outta the gutter!
