The "gunmetal" base that comes with the mini PT2 will thread into the bottom collar of the PT2 from what I understand.

Although Sun Vapers is out of stock, here is the pic...

eGo base for mini Protank and Protank. - Sun-Vapers.com

Also there is this video on youtube.

The downside is that the "ego" base won't be flush with the bottom collar of the PT2, But it seems to work fine...
And ...... you are absolutely correct and I am an IDIOT, works like a charm. My apologies, it looks a bit weird though.

You are not a idiot. I recently found about it and ordered a extra base after giving it a try with one of mini bases. It may look a bit weird but when you take it off you can actually stand it up easily. It gives your PT2 a stable base.

to those with wraps, I need help.

I got the digital teal skin from vapor beast- while super awesome and color changing, the edges come up around the vv/vw display, no matter how hard I tried to make it not. it's a thick sticker.. any ideas on how to remedy?

an update on this..

I used an exacto to cut small slits away from the upper corners of the vv/vw display to alleviate the tension, and then used a hairdryer. worked like a charm! can hardly tell there are cuts in the wrap due to the texture, and now I'm happy. thanks for the help!

Your in lol. That and a like(love) of the MVP is all it takes lol

I think I'm in too! I just got my MVP in the mail today, and it's suh-weet! I've barely used any battery life since I got it at 2:30, and it definitely does not look like your "standard e-cig" or mod. Rocking awesome.
But, I'm concerned, do I have the right charger for it? What do I need to know about my new toy?

I just picked up a new IBtanked tank today, it's my first! I'm so lovin' this beautiful tank! It's a 22mm halfling, filled with DFW Blue Hawaiian on my MVP

I use the one supplied with the MVP.

but make sure it is pushed in competely, it goes in snug but needs to be "bottomed out to work.

I think the person was asking about the wall charger. None of my MVP's had a wall charger, only a cable. Which means they still need to find a wall wart.

I believe that Itaste recommends 500ma minimum. I believe the one I use is 750ma. According to Battery University, quick charging or charging at higher amps can cause more battery stress. As a result, I would not charge at anything higher than 1000ma (1 amp).

a wall wart doesn't determine the output. it can only supply what's asked of it. you simply have to have a wall wart capable of more output than the device plugged into it desires. anything above 500 milliamps should do fine. higher is better until the point where you're wasting money to get more than you'll ever use. the higher the wall wart is capable of putting out, the less it will be stressed when in use. translates to longer life and/or less chance of failure, fire, sparks, etc..

for those that may not know, the iclear 16B is a fantastic little plastic bdc. puts out tons of thick, flavorful, full bodied vapor at normal wattages. for the money, it's a winner. i can't see it being very durable when dropped, but if that's not what you're looking for, it's certainly worth a try.

I thought it had to be a certain amp output.

In the end the charger doesn't control the charging rate the MVP itself does. So if the charger has to much output the MVP will cap it at a certain point. If the charger has to low output it'll just charge your MVP slower. Phones are the same way and work under the same concept.

I haven't sprung for a fancy ibt however I'd like to try the 'thingy' out for my cartos. What size do you recommend I get to use with my dct tanks, I use mostly 3ml and sometimes 6ml tanks. TIA :)
All the folks trying this clearo or that topper, and having problems and not liking the taste...

I've converted to using tanks like from IBTanked, and either BOGE or SMOK prepunched cartos. Watch for and buy the cartos in bulk, and save. A fresh carto may last a couple of weeks, or die in a day - but, hot-swapping in a fresh carto is easy, and zero problems. Great flavor, no weird taste, no weird draw issues, no gurgling or flooding issues - for just wanting to vape, all I can say is WOW~!

The key is making sure the carto is full of juice (not dry) when you start - IBTanked sells their tanks in a 'thingy' - which is a super easy 2 minute way to fill a carto, and/or carry a spare tank filled and ready to vape. It's just sweet.

Then, if you like, you go start collecting all the sweet tanks on the market like the SnP, etc (or not).

ACK! Best to ask 'OCD' himself over on his thread about 'playing with your thingy'...

We have a winner........You'll have to wait until that rascal's wrapped to find out who won... Congrats to the winner.

Here it is, I just got home & waiting in the mailbox was R2D2. I've NEVER won anything so I am excited.

Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics. A big thank you to P.opus & Vaporskinz.com for making this possible. Now I just need to find a drip tip in the likeness of Yoda & I'll be set. LOL
