Hello all! I've had my mvp2 now for about 3 weeks and I love it. Was running the aspire bdc and it worked great. I tried a few other tops including a Trident but kept coming back too the aspire.

OK so I started playing around with my Trident clone on the mvp. Didn't like the Pre installed dual coil setup at all. So I figured is try and wrap my own. First one was 28g kanthal 10wraps single coil around a very small screwdriver with cotton wick @ 2.5 ohms... Not bad decent flavor OK vapor. Next wrapped 28g kanthal 13wraps micro single coil @ 1.7 ohms cotton wick HOLY .....
this is amazing on the mvp 2.0... Max.vg.Mt Baker vapor diy 6mg. And I have the mvp turned down watts @7.0.. And voltage @3.5 I'm impressed but I know this is not one you can discreetly vape in stores. This is a fog machine but the flavor is the best I've had of everything I've tried on the mvp. And the adjustable air flow works flawlessly Plus the Trident is small so keeps things a bit more compact. Imo looks great

You set either the wattage or the voltage, you don't use both. If you adjusted the wattage last it's in VW mode, if you adjusted the voltage last it's in VV mode.

Question: I've heard when you get a new battery, you need to completely kill it before charging?is this true? Should I do it with the mvp?

Not true.

Fully discharging batteries is an old habit people used when using NiCad batteries. There is nothing I have read that promotes the full discharge of Li-Ion or Li Poly batteries. In fact there are many protections built in to PREVENT over discharge.

I rarely let my MVP go below 3.8 volts.

I don't think the price of the shine is that much-that pink one is beckoning me..it would probably cost me more or the same to wrap it, decal it, and add my own crystals..i probably paid more for my mvp2 soon after it came out(the real good deals came later) and j-wrapped it myself...glad to see they are keeping it under $75-i'm thinking it's gonna sell well with current and new users at this price

I ordered it...I just couldn't resist-used my "provari fund/savings $"...I just really like the mvp's so much and am still on the fence about the other due to the cost(the mvp I know how to use and I like it a lot), and I really, really like the pink one-it's so me, and I need a back up since I broke my spinner back up this weekend-I'm a mom(need another durable item), my younger son has been sick for over a week with ear infection and virus-I need a reward for keeping sane and housebound right?

I hope your son feels better very soon. Nothing worse than when our babies aren't feeling well... Grab the snuggles while he is down...

Yes 69.99 seems like a lot. But if you put it into perspective not so much

1. Do you wanna wait for price drop and possibly wait for in Stock/ out of stock issues

2. Cost per average life cycle of device is incredibly low even at that price.

3. Is it something you will use everyday.

These are how I justify prices.

Completevape, $54.95-I chose free shipping option....enabler I am(sound like yoda I do)

I went for it, too. I think $55 is a good price. Like someone above mentioned, I didn't want to wait too long and not find the one I want. My next fear is that they will release that black one with the skull and I will *have * to buy another.

a beautiful Note

Okay... I placed my order... $54.95 out the door from completevape.com (Green Butterfly one :)) it only ends up being a few bucks more than the one I got for Christmas from 101vape if you add tax/shipping... I had it 2 weeks and offered to let my hubby take it for a ride and never got it back... This is not the first time he has ended up with my set up-but hopefully since the shine edition is much more feminine, ill get to keep it :) im excited!!!

This may be a dumb question but how can I know Beforehand if a website is an authorized Innokin dealer? I just found out last night that my mvp2 had a scratch off security code(like my PT3 did)...Luckily my local B&M is/was on the up and up and my unit was legit but before last night I had no idea that it was even an issue...Is there a list of Innokin dealers somewhere on the interweb I can go to before I purchase items?
