I'm crap at describing things. I just use my fingernail to ever so slightly make a gap where the arrow is.

Do you mean the middle round part that looks flat? How do I get at it?Its so flat I cant get a hold of it

this is what I suggest, pull pin on coil
- http://s8.postimg.org/khbbipe1x/evod.jpg

but this is what some say to do
- http://i817.photobucket.com/albums/zz99/TDN2020/f6d60a8f.jpg

I shudder at the thought, instead this is what fix I choose
(instead of messin with battery unless absolutely needed)
- 510 Battery to eGo Atomizer Adapter - Adapters - Accessories - E-Cig Parts

most of the time this is the result of 'over tightening' the topper on

:)

Not on the mvp.... the pin on the evod head.
Unscrew the base as if u were filling the tank, then unscrew the atomizer head from the base. At the bottom of the head (shorter fatter side, not longer thinner side)u will see a metal tip. Just wiggle it out from the rubber grommet a tad being careful not to mess with the coil.

Just got my MVP!!!!! Woot!
This thing is sa-weeet.
People complaining about the button are....k this is a family forum. Seriously, its not that bad.
Its really not as flimsy standing up as people make it out to be. Unless u live on a small boat, you should have ZERO problems with this thing standing up.
Only had it a day so I cant comment on battery life yet.
I have an ego to 510 adaptor as well as a 510 to 510 adapter to alleviate the non firing problems (which happen on my evic as well) and every tank ive tried works well.
Coming ego twists as my portables, how do u guys manage your power? Do you just leave it on all day in your pocket?
I usually shut it off after a session because I dont vape with any sort of consistancy. Could be 5 mins til my next, could be an hour. Am I saving any battery life by doing this?

There is no battery savings on powering down. The only real advantage of powering down is that it resets your puff counter and prevents accidental firing of the unit while it is in storage.

Thank you-it's been quite a long week for us...I thought at 3 he'd outgrow the ear problems, but just not yet...hope by weekend-he's back to normal hyper self:) luckily the rest of family hasn't caught it either-thank God!

I am 51, and still have ear problems. Tubes were first put in my ears at age 48, and while they create a new set of issues, I've had no infections since. Am sorry to say that some of us for some unknown reason never outgrow them.

IBTanked cartotanks...better flavor than some. better vapor than some. less fiddly than almost all. slap yo mama is highly recommended. then you can fiddle with your thingy to your hearts delight. :D

I've found the $2.50 "Refilling Drip Tip" (on the IBTanked site) works just as well as the $7.99 (or $12.99) "Slap Yo' Mama".

Well 2 weeks ago my wife and I both bought MVP 2.0. My wife's is the "energy" series, just fancy colors otherwise the same except.....

Well hers only shows after a full recharge 3.9v while mine shows 4.2v. I also put my Fluke meter on both and fired the button. Mine showed 5.05v hers 5.00v.

The problem is that hers drops off after 4-6 hours to 3.7, glows yellow. I brought it back to the B&M and they are trying to check it out further.

Anyone else have this problem or chime in? We are both running 2.4ohm coils and running around 7.0-7.5 watts.

That's not normal. It should read 4.2 off a full charge then drop to 4.1 fairly quick and then go from there. Sounds like hers is not fully charging for some reason.
