Metallic taste is probably because of he metal drip tip. Try using an acrylic one.

And I don't get dry hits with my unitank

I'll try that tstar, thanks.

On a separate note, does the vivi nova v2.5 tank fit the mvp? 510 I think I read somewhere so should do right?

Damn it, I have to keep away from my local vape shop, I've joined the PT2 army and outfitted mr mvp in carbon black wrap.. also have a custom jwrap and hypertank on it's way.

There's just so many variations to this whole lovely, fantastical vaping thing!

And think of all the money you are saving :laugh::laugh:

Same here. Tomorrow is payday, though, and then I'll find it perfectly acceptable to buy a carto tank and about a gallon of juice.

My excuse is... can't put a price on happiness, though I'm sure a bank statement will tell me that exactly and in unforgiving terms.

It's all good with the finances. The way I see it, if I vape for 14 years I'll actually be saving money!

How long a delay for 101 to go from acceptance to shipped?

It's been almost 24 hours. After dealing with the FasTech debacle for so long I'm a little gun shy

Fast Tech and I have a tenuous relationship right now. My MVP 2 purchase from them made me a little jaded. What I will give them is that their prices tend to be best overall, and their customer service and ticket system are pretty top notch. My rule of thumb when ordering from them is to not be surprised if the item I receive is DOA or just not even the product I ordered.

It was almost 24hrs exactly for me from the time I ordered till I got the shipping notice from 101. I ordered around 10:30pm on Monday night when I seen they were back in-stock and around 11pm last night I got the email saying it shipped.

Hey everyone,
I have decided my first mod is going to be the MVP2. I have done tons or research and think this will be my best choice. I have started with the Halo triton starter kit for myself and hubby(no VV). I have quickly decided I need more. I had originally thought of getting VAMO, but once I saw all the great reviews on this and got to hold it in my local B&M and realized it is a lot smaller than I had thought,I made my choice. So my questions are, since I have a Triton I have NO tanks that will fit. I love having options so had thought I would buy a few more tanks to have so I could have variety. What tanks would everyone recommend I get? Also, since I have not had VV, would you recommend I get different Ohms coils? One more question, is another reason I really wanted a different setup is as a new vapor I am still getting tons of new liquid that I would love to test along its steeping period without having to commit it to a tank so am looking to get an atty and drip tip. I will need recommendations as this is all new to me since I only have halo tanks. Any other input for a newbie would be great, also. Thanks in advance.

I, too, started with the Triton kit and quickly wanted to move on because of the incompatibility issue. I am currently using a Kanger Protank II and a Mini Protank II. I love them and they work well with the MVP2. The MVP usually comes with either an iClear 30 or 2 iClear 16's. They are top coil clearomizers like you have had with the Triton. The Kanger Protanks, on the other hand, are bottom coil clearomizers. They give a cooler vape but eliminate the need for tilting the tank to keep the wicks wet since they sit on the bottom.

I use 2.5 ohm coils but it is really going to be a personal preference thing. Coils are cheap so I would get a few in different resistances so you can see what you like best.

As for sampling with an atty, I would like the answer to this as well.

I think you will really like the MVP. Good luck!

For testing juices I use these 510 Bridgeless Atomizer - Stainless - 2.4ohm and for my everyday vapeing I use these and Kanger MT3 Rebuildable Clearomizer - Stainless and these Kanger ProTank These coil replacements will work on both the T3, MT3 and the Pro Tanks Kanger T3s/MT3s Coil Replacement ** 5 Pack - 2.5 ohms Hope this helps :)
