I got my beautiful silver MVP 2.0 last Saturday and now 4 days later and 850 puffs later it's still reading 3.8v on the battery. This is just a phenomenal device! I wish I would have started with this and saved a bazillion $$ on lesser ones.

For those of you that bought the 510-ego adapter, where is a good place online to buy it? Some places I saw have bad reviews.

:::::mumbling to myself::::: Must..not..order..another..MVP...must..not..order..another....

Ha! My first was silver, black on the way.. and trying to keep myself from pulling the trigger on the blue one.. lol

Not sure why I would need three, when there are so many other mods/mechs to choose from. All I know is thank heavens they only have three colors...

Got my 510-ego adapters in today. They've worked wonders on my knockoff T3Ss. I highly recommend them to anyone having connection issues with ego threaded clearos.

Funny you should mention that, I am using a T3S on my MVP 2 (no firing issues w/o the beauty ring), but when I tried the T3S with a 510-ego adapter and I swear I get better vapor and taste with the adapter on. Downside is that it makes the setup taller that I'd like, but it's a small price to pay.

Anyone have an opinion why the taste/vapor is seeming better with the adapter on? For the life of me I can't come up with a logical reason for why this would be. FWIW, this is with several juices, but most noticeably 100% VG

My guess is that you are getting better air flow with the adapter and therefore a better vape. That is why I use one with my T2's. If you look back a couple of pages, I posted a picture of mine with a small beauty ring to cover the adapter. It cleans it up and makes for a nicer looking setup.

I picked up a pink wrap this week. This morning I put it on my MVP. Here's my review.

I started by centering over the fire button and then the count window. Tried to line it up as straight as possible to the top edge. It feels pretty sticky but I was able to remove it and straighten it easily. There will be a bit of overlap near the count window on the back side. This is a light color so the overlap does show a difference in color. I like the texture. It doesn't feel slick at all.

I like being able to change colors and I like the "grip" feel to it. For $3 it was worth buying but I wouldn't pay any more than that. I am going to try some of the samples from 3M and see how they turn out today.

I took pictures and will try to post them.

If it helps any, my second one is on the way.

The one I got from FT stripped out (go figure) the one I have from MBV is still going strong.

My seam is not straight.

Nice color!

Trying to match the fire button and this window took a couple of attempts.

The air bubbles show with the light color but a credit card helped push them out. I also pointed my hair dryer at it to help soften the wrap while adjusting it. I saw them do that when they covered a refrigerator in a video :)

Actually it's going to be my fourth purchase but I did give one away! I have version 1 in the drawer, I'm using version 2, and my BackUp is on the way. I guess I want to make sure that no matter what I will be able to vape until I am ready to say its time to quit. I don't ever want to go back to cigarettes. Never!!

It does help to know that I can use this battery to charge my camera too. Now I don't have to buy extra charger cords for that.

As long as things have more than one purpose it helps justify having them around. ;)

DIY Wrap

I cut a cardboard template using the store bought wrap. Using a box knife I cut a wrap out of the wood grained sample. Getting the corners smoother will be easier with practice, I'm sure.

Helpful hint!!! Use a hair dryer to heat the wrap before removing the backing. It is much more pliable when warm.

I don't think this is too bad for a first try. Dark patterns are more forgiving.

The original MVP I ordered from across the pond. It hit Hong Kong and was returned to the vendor because of shipping restrictions... I've already decided that I NEED 2 of them because once my hubby tests it, he'll WANT it. Plus, I am a greedy hoarder LOL So, what do I do? Wait for the vendor across the pond to TELL ME the package has been returned when they usually take a week or more to alert the customer? Do I just order one for less than I already paid to the vendor across the pond? Do I risk having THREE OF THEM? Hard to decide.

I'd cancel order you have been waiting for so long. Imagine it comes and it's version 1 not the MVP 2. You know how fast you can get one on this side of the pond for less money. My :2c:

DIY MVP Template

Super Thanks to COHgirl for sending me a scan of her lovely pink wrap. I swear my testosterone was running out my body when I was working on this. I colored the wrap template a medium gray, saved it to PDF and uploaded it to Google Docs.

Please post pics of your wrap jobs...and remember...

Sure looks like the MVP version 1 by the pictures. They also have the Evod for a real low price, however the Evod doesn't come is ml listings on the side. I have to wonder about this vendor and being honest.

From the description it appears to be an MVP V1 no wattage or ohm readings.
