Okay boys and girls, I just got made today! It's official it's here! And it's so oooooooooooooooooooo kooooool
I think the button is unusually hard to push AS COMPARED to any other device
so it was peculiar when I first got it and take in to account button placement
just does not fit my/many hands (read all that use side of thumb knuckle)
(I highly doubt innokin had that in mind)
then figure in the strange way you must exert force, made for kinda a sore
ache Ive since got mostly used to it but assistance from my foam cushion
stuck on there surely helped a great deal...
and don't forget this all came about due to the fact that
the V1 button was weak and feeble (and flush mounted)
and had a high failure rate, so button on V2 was a VAST improvement...
now ask me who I think has the best fire button of all

I completely agree with this and that is one of the things that sold me on the MVP, other than the ridiculous battery life when compared to my old spinner. I could see where the button might be a problem for some, but if you made it easier, then you'd hear more cases of accidental firing.I agree with the comments about the suitability of the stiff button. It's set flush with the plastic surround so no worries about it getting pressed in my pocket, and it's a little stiff for that extra protection. I like it like that.
At first it was difficult to get used to since I had been using a Spinner with the very easy button press. But now, the button is something I just never think about. And I never need to hassle myself with turning the MVP off when I put it in my pocket and then having to turn it on again.
If people really have an issue with the button i suppose it's worth doing but in all the endless posts i have read about the MVP it doesn't appear to be a problem at all , i think it's ideal the way it is personally and would not mess with it unless i had no choice.
Glad yours survived the operation, would of been a real bummer if it suddenly succumbed to it's injuries , the MVP, and you can include us humans in this can expire at any time for no apparent reason (especially when we get tinkered with)
Yes, i am very very surprised actually since the button has been a non issue for 99% of people who posted about their experiences with it , the button may be hard to press for you and a very few others but please don't try to make it sound like it's a problem for most.
I would bet the house that most would not attempt what you did to try and alleviate it but you did and hopefully it's easier for you , Innokin QC is very very good , if you were talking fasttech then it would be far more believable.
Well...I checked out Amazon and the 3 sites you mentioned. Didn't find anything that I could use as a "Drip Tip Tree"...but I did find a "Thread Rack" and a "Thread Spool Case" that I might be able to use to store/organize my 20-30 Drip Tips.
Only problem...although they list the Rack/Case dimensions...they don't list the dimensions of the "spool spindles" (that hold the spools of thread).
Since I can't remember the last time I saw a spool of thread...would "spindles" to hold thread spools be small enough to put Drip Tips on?

I tell ya, I’m happiest wrapping my coils similar to what factory does
5/64”, close but not touching, keep legs short as possible…
all the others , meh (factory has more R&D than me, efficiency)
the others seem a bit tuffer to do (a little) but made all kinds of test run coils
and I seem to come back to close to stock style and it's working for me...

Sounds like you need to pull your pin.
Will it fire an atty?
No nothing fires and now I know why all the coils I tried to build read 'bad' was not the coils at all but the device. Can you tell me how to pull up the pin? I am not sure I even know what a pin is
the best way to avoid the center pin problem is to use one of these
Airflow Adapter

What the purple paperclip is resting on is the pin. I'm not sure of a good way to pull it up with everyday items, I use dental picks to pull pins up but I haven't needed to since my Spinner broke. possible get a needle or paperclip and gently out it against the side of that pin, lean it on the inside edge of the connector and try to pry it up, working your way around. Don't pull it up too far, or you'll break the connection on it. And don't tighten your tanks all the way. Snug, not tight.
It wouldn't have anything to do with the amount of time you've had it, it could have happened anytime you took the airflow control off and put it back on. I pushed my Spinner's pin in during the first week. If you're rebuilding coils and you don't have a lot of experience, it could be that your builds have shorts. Have you tried a new coil/clearo?I can not get it to pull up at all. I have only had this thing two weeks and barely used it. I also have used the airflow control with it. Isn't this to soon for this to happen?
Actually that did not help at all as I have one of these-bought it when I bought the MVP two weeks ago and I still have this problem
