Agree on everything you said and the bottom dual coils also zap more battery power which is a downer . I think the reason for the Iclear 30's great flavor is in part due to (like you said ) dual coils but also the amount of wicks , it has a ton.

It's important to not let your juice get too low on these , i tilt it a lot to soak the top coil or just refill to slightly cover the top coil , it's also very easy to clean and dry burn.

Yep yep! My favorite goto tanks are still the Kanger T2 (top single coil) and T3S (bottom single coil). Both are VERY reasonable priced and perform very well. The T2 never leaks/gurgles/floods...nada...just puts out nice warm vapes and killer flavor. I've spent a ton trying out all the latest/greatest "game changer" clearos and have only found a couple of others to be nearly as good as the tried and true ole "cheapies". However, the new Aspire Nautilus Mini with it's redesigned bottom vertical coil (BVC) and locking adjustable airflow ring is my latest toy (and my Magma...1st RDA). I still ALWAYS have a gaggle of p-touch labeled T2 and T3S filled and ready to swap into my rotation.

Heh, the MVP is good. Really good. But it ain't da best. Me, I"m waitin' n' droolin fer the SVD2. Supposed to hit in September.

Would just post the link...but ECF doesn't allow Vapor Joe links...

INNOKIN YOU'RE TOO LATE: THE SVD 2.0 w/ EVOLV DNA20?

Here is the latest wattage mod from Innokin The SVD 2.0. Innokin opted to go with Evolv and use the DNA20 chip.
Innokin has now moved into a new sub-market. This is the DNA style sub-market were they are judged completely different. Innokin has always been in a world of their own - but when they go toe to toe with other DNA / CHNA makers - this product is DOA!

Let me breakdown why this was a TERRIBLE move on the part of Innokin.

THE BAD:

STRIKE 1: No innovation by Innokin

We always gave Innokin a pass on its lower power because they had such great style, form, and function. This is just a plain tube with what looks like plastic buttons. They are banking on the Evolv name to push this mod. To me this seemed like a good way for Evolv to get rid of a ton of DNA20 tech. This style and wattage limit HAS BEEN DONE TO DEATH.

STRIKE 2: It will probably be expensive

Let's face it - we're looking at an Evolv chip and consider Innokin's past prices on mods.
It will be more expensive than any more powerful 30 watt tube or box mods coming from China.
Don't forget this mod is still ALL China. The brain is USA but its only as good as its weakest part.
They would need to price this well under $79.00 for it to be viable.

STRIKE 3: Enter the new darling of regulation - The Box Mod

The latest rage in regulated (i.e SX chips, Raptor, etc) is the box mod. There has been a huge shift. Mod makers can do more and fit more batteries in that form factor. You don't need a CnC machine or Lathe to make a solid box mod.

STRIKE 4: UGLY

I'd love to know who gave the OK on this mod. Ugly as the day is long.
This can now be sold in both ecig and adult toy shops around the world - and fit right in.
I guess the "D" in the DNA20D stands for ... well you figure it out :)

STRIKE 5: Already Cloned at 30 Watts

KSD already has come out with a CHDNA 30 VAMO that is far better looking, probably cheaper, and has 10 more watts of power. Technically - wouldn't that make this mod a clone because KSD was first to release?

http://www.fasttech.com/products/1/10008269/1793207-ksd-7w-30w-varaible-wattage-mod

THE GOOD:

1. Innokins highest wattage to date.

This is Innokin's highest wattage mod to date, which gives a little more power to the vaper coming from the ego battery.
In this day and age - it's an entry level wattage mod.

2. SOME quality

Though just a plain, ugly, and boring tube mod - this has both Evolv and Innokin names on it.
This means it will have SOME quality behind it. Which is important to many.

In my opinion this mod is dogs breakfast in terms of the online vaping community. This is geared more for the B&M shops. In the end I see this being a simple metal casket for the DNA20 chip to rot in - very few will buy it.

An ironic ending.... The USA DNA20 gasps its dying breath in a Chinese mod.

I hear ya, gerrymi. Just saw the pic. That is one ugly mod. :(

I assumed they were just going to fix the button problem and maybe add an oled screen. That is a totally different mod.

For me, I'll just keep on truckin' with my old SVD's. I may give em a shot if the price is right. The thing with them now is... they give the best flavor out of any of the mods I currently own. By a mile. No idea why that is, it just is what it is.

After researching juice and the like i can't believe the profit margins on that stuff , it's unreal how cheap and the profit these juice makers are experiencing . My question is how did you decide what to get (measuring equipment) .

Do you buy 100% nic base? If i could keep juice cost down i would be golden and have more $$ to spend on actual gear .

I mix up 150ml at a time (the VG bottles from Walmart). Mostly I use a 60 ml syringe I got from a local farm supply store for 4 or 5 dollars  I went with 100mg nic because it's cheaper that way but you're suppose to wear rubber gloves. This looks like a pretty good deal: https://www.myfreedomsmokes.com/nic...vored-nicotine-smoke-juice-e-liquid-9390.html

when does everyone charge thier mvp i got about 1100 puffs give or take and the led had final switched to yellow so i charged it, was this pointless as i know that th yellow light means 50% charge left. any other tip or ticks i should know about now that i am a new owner of an mvp and loving it!!!

Yellow is good... Better, if its not at yellow to charge it nightly anyways.. Li-Ions like to be charged.

I just bought 2 liters of this and got it in about a week. I used the free shipping option. I haven't made any juice with it yet so I hope it's good. If nothing else, it'll get me through the possible Vapocalypse for a few years, if it happens.

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT count Innokin down for the count based on Vapor joes opinion....They've done their home work on what real world vapors need and this is there first collaboration with Evolv. Further, Innokin is still making changes as we speak to the design...,.Nothing is static,,, I trust Innokin and I think they're gonna shake up the industry in the next 6 months. 30watt MVP's, 50watt VTR's, etc... This device is designed for the largest segment of vapors and as crazy as it may sound....50watt sub-ohmers aren't that..JM2C

I agree. Innokin is one of the best. Thing is I would think if they're going to make a new SVD2 it would look like an SVD. Like the MVP 2 looked like the MVP1.

This design, if it sticks, ain't no SVD! Not saying it won't be better, just different. I, for one am not interested in 50w, or 30w, or even 20 for that matter. At least not interested if I have to pay a premium. To me, that would be a marketing blunder.

usually problems arise above 50/50 in Tanks you ole Nit-Picker, ask keir about it........my suggestion on Ratio is not a golden rule just a nice safety zone to avoid any problems that might arise :)

My Davide Aspire with the old 2 hole heads don't work with 70/30... I generally put 10% distilled water in the mix of dual coils to lighten it up. I'm a chain vaper.

Regardless of voltage I always put mine to charge overnight. But, with doulble coils doesn't make it through the day. Shame on the double coils, works great with a 1.6 ohm KF vaped at 10W
