when does everyone charge thier mvp i got about 1100 puffs give or take and the led had final switched to yellow so i charged it, was this pointless as i know that th yellow light means 50% charge left. any other tip or ticks i should know about now that i am a new owner of an mvp and loving it!!!

I usually charge mine at about 3.9. I've only hit yellow once. When it hits yellow, it doesn't take long to go to red.

supposed to be around 500 cycles, but it also depends on how and when you charge it......if you top it off or charge it at half capacity you can double your cycles...you follow.... now once in-awhile it's good to cycle the battery fully..........now this is my opinion, i think the MVP charges best at 1amp it seems to like a slow saturation and holds the charge very well ........now at 2amps it charges alot quicker but does not hold the charge very long....i've tried both and this has been my experience....i charge mine with a 1amp wall-wart.

heard there are some folks still going strong approaching 1 yr , but you never know till ya get there, no guarantees!

Right on Sando , the MVP seems to do much better overall with a long slow charge . I have been following Puff's routine of charging when it hits 3.7 volts and taking it off the charger about 15 min to a half hour before the green light goes out .

It seems to be approx a 3 hr charge give or take but it always shows 4.2 volts when i take it off and it last a very long time from 4.1 through 3.8 and then when i hit 3.7 back on the charger.

Once in awhile i miss it and the green light goes out but when i put it back on the charger i write down the charge time so i know how long it's been on there, makes it easier.

I have a kayfun Lite + from EHPro and love it. Most of my coils for the Kayfun have been around 1.6. I understand Kayfuns aren't for lower ohms, (at least that's what the experienced guys on the KFL+ thread say), so they are great for the MVP.

Once you've had a Kayfun and a good dripper, you'll never want to buy coils again!

Thats an outstanding clone for sure , now we just have to get Claire to buy a Kayfun , she's still holding out , whats it going to take lol.

I really really want one of those. I have the i2, but I need to charge more than two batteries at a time, and the new version looks awesome!
I think the new Nitecore Digicharger's are called the I4 and I2, the older are the D4 and D2 , Amazon has the I2 for around eleven bucks and the I4 for around twenty.

Kayfun Lite Rebuildable Atomizer

She has some excellent stuff already , she won a new Kangertech Mega but with all the talk of how great the Kayfun's are going back many months i'm very surprised she didn't jump on that bandwagon yet . It's absolute cake to rebuild

After researching juice and the like i can't believe the profit margins on that stuff , it's unreal how cheap and the profit these juice makers are experiencing . My question is how did you decide what to get (measuring equipment) .

Do you buy 100% nic base? If i could keep juice cost down i would be golden and have more $$ to spend on actual gear .

Well, I went N got some cherry cola juice to fill my iClear 30 with yesterday. Both my Kanger T3S clearos are bottom-feed coils, so the iClear is my first experience vaping on a tank with tentacles… :D

Anyway, I like the iClear when it comes to flavor production, it rocks! Draws a little tight (has anyone tried drilling out the tip to widen the hole a little bit?), and it does go through the juice, but the flavor this thing produces is intense! I like the swiveling metal tip too, nice to be able to direct it to where you feel most comfortable holding the MVP as you're taking a pull. It didn't seem to put out as much vapor as I'm used to with my T3S tanks last night, but it seems a little better this morning. Still glad I followed everyone's advice and got this thing to replace my ego-style battery! :vapor:

Generally speaking, top coil clearos produce a warmer vape and more flavor due to the coil being closer to your mouth- less time and also less ambient air (in the chimney) to dilute your vapor between the coil and your taste buds. Top vs bottom: each has advantages and disadvantages. Generally speaking, top gives warmer and more flavorful vapes while bottoms have the ability to vape almost every drop in the tank without having to "tip and swirl" to avoid dry hits like top coil clearos when low. Many bottom designs have gone to dual coils (BDC) in an effort to compensate for the flavor and temp muting. It helps, but at a cost of nearly double the juice consumption rate (which applies to top or bottom dual coils). Of course, there are exceptions and taste is subjective.

I think it's the other way around. The "D" is the digital one and the "i" is the original Intellicharger ("New upgraded version for 2014"). I purchased the i4 since the digital screen wasn't important to me and it was right at half the cost at $16.99. They function the same as far as detecting battery type, automatically vary the charge amps, auto-shutoff etc...
If you're not overly into the gadgetry or just have to have the "latest, greatest" the best deal on the same performance model (which btw, rivals many +$50 chargers!) this is the one to get...at least it was for me after realizing that circuitry and performance is identical (couldn't justify almost double the price for a LCD that I'd never look at for more that 1 second to verify charging began and 1 more to to verify it was finished. I'd buy two i4's and have a backup instead! ;):2c:

Thanks guys! I did order one from Slowtech a while ago (mini) but when it was out of stock and they said they didn't know when it would be back in stock I canceled because it was holding up my whole order.

Yes I won a Kanger Aerotank mega ( thanks Spinfuel emagazine!) And it is nice but one of these days I gotta try a Kayfun. Just spent too much lately so on a budget. I will get there! Shiny syndrome..

PS the Kfun mini was back in stock 3 days later. Grrrrrr

Probably right lol, my mistake . The Nitecores are always highly recommended and priced right, thanks for the correction.

Agree on everything you said and the bottom dual coils also zap more battery power which is a downer . I think the reason for the Iclear 30's great flavor is in part due to (like you said ) dual coils but also the amount of wicks , it has a ton.

It's important to not let your juice get too low on these , i tilt it a lot to soak the top coil or just refill to slightly cover the top coil , it's also very easy to clean and dry burn.

101Vape has a 3.1 Kayfun priced at $15.00 and it's getting very good reviews , you would have it in about three days if you order from there but it may be out of stock now , got to check.
