Anyone have any issues with a protank 2 on the mvp v2?

Sometime today my protank 2 stopped working on my mvp 2, have tried it with beauty ring both on and off.

The protank works perfect on my itaste vv and spinner ( beauty ring on and off again ).

To rule out the battery connection i tried a vivi nova and that worked just fine on the mvp (and again beauty ring on and off )

Also cleaned all connections on mvp and protank to rule out debris

thanks for any help, i just got this thing tuesday

Edit: mini protank 2s work fine as well on the mvp

yea, pull base off off protank and torque the coil into the base (only thing that needs to be REAL tight)

put base/coil ONLY back on MVP, see if it reads -- if not

remove the coil from base and pull the bottom contact pin out EVER SO SLIGHTLY

re-assemble and vape your face off

I will second that....love my EVODS.....but a replaceable drip tip on them would be nice.

Honestly? Try the first one you come across and go from there; if you've got a B&M nearby, ask if they have any 510 bridgeless atomizers (I'd go with 1.5-2.0 ohm, but up to you), they often go for $4-5.

If you want to jump up to something a bit fancier and well-reviewed (pbusardo liked it, if I recall), you could go straight to the HH.357 (I don't have one, bit of a pain getting it in Canada).

The IGO's are a piece of cake. I don't know why anyone would ever say they're difficult (unless you have arthritis, or something like that). Honestly, once you get a coil up and running (only takes a few minutes), there are no problems that you'll encounter. They can't leak or gurgle, dry-hits are exclusively user-error, they out perform any clearo out there (once you open up the airhole a bit), they're way easier to build than any bottom coil clearo, and they're a really, really easy to clean. The only drawback is that you need to drip into it, but it holds ~10 drops, and that's probably more than it sounds like.

DougW - you are my HERO!!! I have had my MVP 2.0 for about a week. I'm totally new to vaping, and had read the information about Voltage and Wattage and I've been staying between 7.0 - 8.0 watts with a 2.2 - 2.4 ohm EVOD and I was starting to get disappointed that I couldn't find the flavor I had when I first started with it originally. Now that I've found this chart with the voltage I've found my flavor again!!! Thank you SO much!!!

I am using my new blue I taste MVP 2 tonight. Giving my other one a rest. Works great but I do want that SVD mod. I really think I can change it into a lightsaber with a little work. I already have it sketched out in NY Ambien addled brain. Woohoo

Just threw on the free sample i got from 3M. Cut it down to size and free handed the cutouts. was going to use the template then read a few posts about it not fitting perfectly.Since i got 5 samples for free and you can get 3 wraps from each sample I thought if i messed it up I have a lot more to work with. Came out good on the first try.

Bouncing between the Protank II, iClear30 and Aspire BDC. I haven't really picked a clear winner yet. Aspire BDC is getting the nod, but its still new as of yesterday so to early to say for sure.

I'm curious, which tank do you use on your MVP?
Mine is the Kanger Protank II.

I use 3 the ProTank 2, Mini ProTank 2, and the Evods. I keep the MVP beauty ring on so I can easily change from the ProTank 2 to the Mini ProTank without changing the beauty rings. If you are using the ProTank beauty ring you need to remove it to put on any eGo threaded clearomizer.
