hi all, ordered my mpv2 today i should have it by thursday, i hope i don't get a dud. i'm sorry u r having problems with yours lovingthevaper. i hope u can get it resolved asap. i'll let u all know when i get mine, take care all. keep vaping.
I just had a similar problem with my MVP v2.0. I was changing to another clearomizer, when I noticed my vivi nova would not fire. I switched to one of my IClears, same thing. I put back on the one I was just using, and it worked. I also use a beauty ring, and they all would work without it on. I looked inside to connecter, and it appeared to be very close to the base. so I cleaned it with a dab of alcohol, then took a knife and gently picked the center post up away from the battery. ( I should have used tweezers, but I didn't). After that, they all worked again! It seems that it had gotten stuck in a depressed position, which along with the height of the beauty ring, and me over tightening the clearomizers, caused the problem.
So check and see if your battery pin is too low to make contact with your atomizer before you send it all the way back to china.
I Hope this helps,

Welcome to the club! I still have mine on... didn't even bother since it was protecting the screen and the scratches on the protector don't bother meGot mine from MBV today. Awesome Mod tried with Protank as well as the iclear 30. Very different tanks but I like them both for different reasons. So far my only issue is having to hold down the P button to change the wattage but I guess that is part of the protection from pocket changes. Have most of you removed the sticker from the screen? I started peeling and it just came right off but now I kinda wish I left it on. Anyway cant say enough about MBV...they gave me a free bottle of Hawk Sauce in the order and shipped it in 2 days. Highly recommend them.
This is for those that have never re-coiled or even taken apart a EVOD/Protank/T3S etc etc etc clearomizer head... and are having issues with getting them to fire on any eGo/510 connector device (incl. the MVP 1 or 2) where easy access to the device center pin height adjustment is, ah... not "user friendly".Boy CC, was I excited to read your post...but alas, not the solution to my problem, I'm afraidI was able to raise the pin a little (didn't want any visible scratches, in case of return) but still wouldn't fire my EVODS.
I think a slow boat ride back to China in inevitable.
There's probably an internal resistance in the MVP, or in the eGo/510 connection between it and your atty. If it's consistent, then yep, no biggie. It arrived today. Everything seems to be working after 4 hours of use except maybe the ohm reader. Every Kanger head that is supposed to be 1.8 is reading 2.0. My multimeter reads them at 1.9 or 1.8. Not a big issue.

Every head isn't going to be perfect. I have a 1.8 ohm head that was reading 1.9 - 2.0 ohm. And I just replaced it with a 1.8 ohm head and it reads 1.8 - 1.9 ohmIt arrived today. Kinda curious what it would take to get us our own sub forum for MvP or even innokin in the apv model specific discussion?

Just got my MVP V2 yesterday. Love the MVP. I may try the protank.
Any suggestions on which one to get thats reliable. Been out of the scene for awhile.
Thanks!
Peter
Protank is a good choice. Get a Protank II, which is the most recent version which fully breaks down for easy cleaning and you can use your own drip tip. It's what I use on my MVP 2Just got my MVP V2 yesterday. Came in a kit with an iclear30. The MVP is awsome but the iclear30 shorted itself out after 5 minutes, then started leaking. I gave up on clearos about four months ago. I really wanted to like the iclear, but I don't, there cheaply made and are not easily rebuildable(installing new dual coils that is, yes, I tried to). I know the replacements are only a couple of bucks but I love rebuilding things.Sticking with my tiamat + and cartos. Love the MVP. I may try the protank. I ordered an MVP v2 from eBay yesterday, $55 (iClear 30 kit), free innokin wall adapter, free wrap (green carbon fiber lol) and free expedited shipping. The seller shipped it about 10 minutes after I hit confirm payment, so I'm hoping it's here before Friday when I take off for Michigan for the weekend.
I've been using my Silver Bullet for years now. Never had a problem with it, but really wanted to get in to some vv/VW vaping, and the ProVari is a little out of my budget right now.
Can't wait to get it here and try it, hate being at the mercy of USPS :-(
