I have mine set to 7.0wats at the moment it doesn't seem to be guzzleing juice as much. Still getting a good throat hit not nearly as much vapor though. wish I could use one of my shorter tanks like the ib carto for some reason it or any of my other tanks work the only one that works is the iclear30. Not sure what I am doing wrong. As for the person asking about wraps I'd get one just because I am a bit ocd when it comes to scratches and fingerprints. They are beautiful mods though so I am going to look for a clear wrap.

I've just ordered a MVP2 and I'd like to ask if I should get a wrap straight away to protect the case?
That's just a matter of preference. The finish on mine ("black carbon") seems pretty high quality. I thought about getting a wrap but decided I want to see the logo, once (if) it wears off I'll wrap it. If you wrap it from day 1 it will look brand new for life, but you won't see the logos... So, it's just what you like.

I've had my MVP for a couple of weeks and have decided to wrap it. It's just to slippery for my gorilla sized hands. I found some 3M Di-Noc carbon fiber adhesive material (12"x12") on fleabay for $6 shipped.

I just printed the DIY template I posted a few pages back and its WAY off on the length dimensions. I'll try to find another template.

Uhhhhhhhhhhh, and I am really, really, really excited to be getting one =] I've been thinking about it for awhile and finally pulled the trigger.

Which color did you get? I got the stainless specifically so I wouldn't have to worry about scratches etc. Then I could just order a wrap if the want hits me

I see people fixing bottom button...

Did anyone tried to fix the stiffness of a fire button?
It's such an exercise for me.

Not that I have seen, other than folks saying it gets better with time. Heard somewhere after 4000 puffs...

I figure after so many years of working out my wrists my thumb could use the exercise

I like the stiffness of the fire button personally. I can throw this in my front pocket and not worry about accidental firing. I agree that it is stiffer then other mods I have used but I consider it more of feature than an issue
My VV V3's button is probably half the stiffness but I won't put it in my pocket. And yes, I could turn it off but it resets the puff counter and I kind of like to see how many puffs I've taken during the day.

I like the black much better than my brushed silver.

How does the Protank perform?
The protank works flawlessly since i make my own coils. Every time I ordered the 5 pack of replacement heads onl 2 or 3 worked out of 5. I use 32 gauge kanthal and 3mm wick. I wrap 6 wraps and end up with 2.2 ohms .

Just got mine today, starter package with the iclear30. Fantastic flavour, plumes of cloud all around me. Think I am using around 8.5-9 watts. Sound about right to everyone?

alright, yet another club member
if the wattage works for you, just watch for first sign of burnt taste
then dial it back down to avoid ~Y U K ~ mouth :(

Hello all! Just got my MVP 2.0 in yesterday and wow, I am in love. what a great device and I'm glad I chose it as my first mod. The form factor is just perfect. I don't mind the button at all either. What I do mind however, is the iClear 30. I got half a tank through after just taking it out of the package, and the head dies. Am I the only one who thinks they should send an extra head? Now I have half a tank of delicious juice that I have to figure out a way to salvage. I digress... I'm glad to be a part of this wonderful club, and look forward to staying off analogs the MVP way.

just got my mvp and i think this is my only gripe. otherwise this thing is solid! love it

Phil Bustardo's review of the MVP v2 seemed to highlight the stiff button issue -- his only real "gripe" about this unit, as far as I could tell....
My MVP v2 is coming later this week!!!:DTitanium Blue!!
If you were to contact Immoken.....they'll likely tell you the stiff button is intentional......to prevent accidental "firing" if carried in a pocket, etc. --- kinda like a stiff trigger pull on a firearm -- MOST manufacturers INTENTIONALLY leave the "pull" stiff to prevent "hair trigger" -- an accidental discharge from a WEAPON is FAR more likely to cause more damage than a "misfire" from a mod....!!8-o
Happy (vaping) Trails!

I got the stainless for exactly the same reason =] But with the life expectancy of this mod I'm rethinking the necessity of getting a wrap for it :/ I'm rotating 6 mods this morning, so I'll be grateful to finally get a mod with the potential to replace them all without the excessive weight and phallic look of the eVic LOL
