dewd, did you read what you wrote ?
you just conjured up the VTR--
maybe buy a VTR, but then we're talking different $$ (CLOSE to 3 MVP's for a VTR)
why change what is very popular and so far has many satisfied followers
my suggestion was adding a small, simple digital clock
just a flush mount read out, nothing else...

do you know about these ?

Yup already own a VTR, and i do like it. But some new/casual vapors don't want to drop the $100+. One of the best things about the MVP is the price point. I agree there's not much to change if it's working, but it's just some things i'd like to have if there is a v3 that shouldn't add to the price.

I did see the case made for it and the VTR but i wanted to see if there's something anyone found that was more pocketable.

More questions..sorry guys.

Had the MVP 5 days with the iclear 30 and it seems I have to replace the coil already, consistent burnt hits at every watt, so I'm just wondering for those with an iclear30 is 5 days about average before the coil burns out?

These coils last a VERY long time. Have you been doing a dry burn every tank or two? I bet it's just gunked up.

I haven't no, I'm still somewhat inexperienced, didn't come across what a dry burn was until last night in honesty.

So I should just do that and try from there?

Wash/soak it real good then while it is still wet do a burn off. I know there are U-tubes out there
on how to do a dry burn.

I would bet dollars to donuts after a good burn off you will be back up and running. Make sure to
rinse well after you do the burn. Let us know how you make out.

Nothing stupid about it, just a learning curve. Glad to be of assistance.

Vape on :vapor:

Just makes me wonder now, how much have I spent on replacements with previous kits when all they needed was a good dry burn.

Ah well, never mind :p

rinse / burn / rinse / soak vodka / rinse / dry / install

seems the vodka/alcohol removes the foul taste from burn-off (never hurts to try...) :)

Vape≈ like the coils are clean

I do have the MVP 5, want one? It features an all new burnt taste accompaniment.

Thanks & hugs ;) to all who posted on this thread.
Helped make a hard decision easier. Props to y'all.

Waiting on my MVP 2 from Sun-Vapers. 2 day shipping apparently includes Sunday!?!
Voodoo magic wicked quick shipping always and great service.
Enough to pay a bit more for a reliable vender sometimes.

Waiting (not holding my breath though!) on a fasttech SvD and Vamo... 30 days and counting.
Couldn't make up my mind on which to buy...
Now that I changed my mind to MVP will probably just sell on ebay.(if they ever come!)

Again, a big thanks to you all for honest reviews. A great help you all are!

I have had several EVODs,I don't like them, but they will work. I have Smok ARO it works, Kanger T2,Kanger MT3 works. Iclear16,iclear30 works. TripleV tank with Boge carto works.

Thank you all for the helpful answers.

One more question, I'm thinking of rebuilding my own coils soon. Since the MVP 2 has an OHM reader how safe is it to use it to test coils? It doesn't look like it fires when checking but I really don't want to risk ruining my battery. Does anyone use the MVP to test their coils?

If I could save the money and use the MVP instead of buying multimeter that would be rad. But I'm not willing to risk it if it's not safe.

Edit: On other threads I've heard of people of using their VAMOs to test their builds. I figured can't the MVP do the same?

Had to take the pic off to the side the cam flash was killing the decal. It's the jwraps s19. Love it.

MVP 2.0 with a Kanger ProTank 2 with shorty ss tip.

Got a ton of other clearomizers for it but this is my fav. Second would be the evods, then the vivi novas, and lastly the iclear30 (didn't care much for it). I have a bunch of cheap ce4's from fast tech that work great for flavor testing along with some throw away drip attys. But I really love this pro tank.
