Note on generic/clone Kanger Evod tanks w/ Ego threading:
These tanks are sold on FT in a 10 pack for $21 (sorry, no link, i'm at work).Anyways, not one would fire on the MVP2, but they would fire on the X6, Ego batteries, and my wife's VV 3.
After close examination of the internal Ego thread on the tank there is a 1 to 1.5mm thread gap on the bottom.
Just a heads up in case anyone buys these clone tanks. They do work well with just a little work.
Consequently the pin not seat correctly for firing. The solution was to sand down the bottom of the unit approximately 1.5mm.

so your saying that you sanded the bottom of the 'base' , on the generic/clone Kanger Evod tanks
which then allowed it to screw down farther and make battery contact--very cool...

Easier solution is to use a pair of needlenose or a small screwdriver and pull the pin out a little. No modifications required.

that's a great fix , for once

the way KnurledNut went about it, it's all done and won't have to be
bothered with anymore -- all coils should work without modification...

was a huge itaste vv v3 fan til today when I pulled a charger off it at work and it came undone with the circuit board coming out. Anyhow it's not firing or reading attys.. Tried moving the center pin, epic fail ..so after 2 weeks my vapering bubble burst.. Will go back to the vendor tomorrow for a replacement (heard the upgrade has 6 rivets now) but to soften the blow I just ordered an MVP at 101 Vapors for the se price as I got the vv3 for...softening the blow hopefully... I also have an aspire-et I was planning to use when I saw the post about it not connecting... Hope that wasn't foreshadowing ;)

is this what we're talking about ?
- Aspire BDC Vivi Nova-S Pyrex Glass Bottom Dual Coil Tank

and it leaks , huh -- from the tank threads, or thru the coil ?

did you wash it good before using ? notice if any o-rings looked missing ?

I never mess'd with one so not much help... it's tight of course

but like I suspected, it's the MVP attachment threading,
(not the Aspire) not firing on MVP... (bet the 510/ego adp works)

all I can say for now is good luck...

Yes that tank I contacted Nhaler and they sent me this video. I got it to work but stripped the threading on the tank trying to tighten it down lol

I've read a few reports that after the puff counter hits 999, the MVP initiates a 'self-clean' by firing for ten seconds, can anyone confirm/deny? There's an easy workaround (turn it off and on to reset the counter before 999), but I'm a bit absent-minded sometimes and hate the idea of having a vape and putting it in my pocket, only to have it fire for ten seconds in there.

I arrived home late last night but mailbox was full. My 3 MVP's two are gifts and my first ProTank 2. Vape 101 hit a home run. Excellent packaging with two layers of bubble wrap. I MVP2 was in a sealed box with serial number and scratch off code which can be checked at Innokin.com.

It was geen to start but I gave it a full charge about 2 hours and the light turned out. I put on the beauty ring and although some have said there is no room for the vent holes on a Evod to breath. I can say to me their is sufficient clearance, even more room with Mini ProTank 2.

It is heavier then I expected and I must agree with all who said the button is hard to push. If you put your finger dead center it is a bit easier. I think the problem is the button doesn't stick out enough. As far as the wobble goes there was none with mine. It sits and doesn't wobble at all. If anyone is wondering which black it is well it's the matte black.

I'm impressed with the packaging from Vape 101, from Innokin, and just knowing this unit for only $39.99 is the real deal. I might give the iClear 30 a try, but I'm hooked on Kanger and their bcc at this time. The eGo threading is excellent as is the 510, and the beauty ring no longer sticks out on the side.

So far only being 1 day I'm very impressed. I should mention my ProTank 2 comes with (2) 2.5 ohm coils but my MVP shows it being 2.0 which is strange as it read the 2.2 ohm coils I have on my Mini ProTank 2 correctly.

The very first V1 Beta versions did this. It was corrected in short order.
