So- question for you experts-- I got two evod tanks- one fits fine. The other wont screw down enough on the MVP enough to make contact. It seems to thread ok, but just doesnt go down far enough.

any ideas?

OK the issue with the one tank is because the threads arent as deep. If i compare to the other evod tank that fits fine- the threads go much deeper in the other. Looks like a tank defect.

man that's messed up!

If you are not far from H-Town...I can loan you a Vamo V3

Thanks, man. Get your drawers on and I'll be there in about two and a half hours.
Kidding of course, but thanks for the offer. God has made it clear that He does not want me vaping. Who knows what kind of horrible thing will happen to me on I-10 if I drive to Houston to defy what is clearly the Will of God!

(obviously, still a bit jaded)

Nice. My wife ordered mine Saturday night. It was "delivered" on the 30th, but mysteriously vanished from our locked mailbox (it was never actually in there) The post office doesn't know what happened to it and doesn't really seem to care.

Next time I want to order stuff on line, just have me withdraw $40 from the ATM and throw it out the window of a fast moving car.

(yeah, I'm a little PO'ed and jaded. I really and truly hope you enjoy yours.)

Archer, I am so sorry to read this. I can only imagine your frustration (anger is certainly appropriate here). I wish I could think of something comforting to say. This just sux. I will hope that it shows up for you.
I feel badly.

I am thinking that his wife hid it for Christmas. I hope this is the case!

I found out about it when the postal lady came to my door and explained that she did not remember delivering the package and was checking the boxes with addresses similar to mine to see if she put it there by mistake. As much as I wish that my wife really had hidden it, I think calling the post office and making them search for it and opening a claim with 101Vape would be carrying it a bit far. Not to mention that it would also mean that I get nothing for my birthday.

So what happens for ya now Archer? surely the postal company is responsible and should reimburse you the cost of the MVP?

There is no doubt that the Post Office is responsible. I've tried taking up the issue with them, but since I was not the one who paid for the shipping, there is nothing they will do for me. The only one that can file a claim is the shipper, which is 101Vape. We've contacted them and let them know what was going on. So far, their response has been to confirm our shipping address. I don't know what, if anything, they will do from here. The ball is in their court and all I can do is sit in the stands.

I've heard nothing but excellent things about this company so I am optimistic. Unfortunately, that does not change the fact that I ordered a product and never received it. It's not my job to care who is at fault. I just want what I paid for. If 101 can't or won't help me, my only course of action is to file a claim with our credit card company. I would hate to do that since I know 101 did nothing wrong. But again, I ordered a product that I have not received. If I've done anything wrong, it was placing the order. I hope that 101 doesn't want me to think that placing an order with them was a mistake. But if what I've heard is true, 101 will take good care of me as they do all their customers. I just have to wait and see.

I hope the best for you ArcherB. This one of the many reasons why I wish I had local B/M store close that was halfway decent. I would be willing to pay a little more for some peace of mind.

Sorry I cant add anything to help. I hope you get this resolved quickly, and have a MVP2 in your hands SOON!

I also have a tank like that (clone) not a real kanger (wife got tricked)

there is a row or two of threads missing...

so I use wunna these...

- Adapter - 510 to Ego - Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes

makes everything all better...

If you take a pair of needle nose pliers and slightly pull the coil down it will work. Has been a sporadic issue for me on some of my evod clones from fast tech. Make sure to be light or you can pull the center right out of the coil.

Happy belated birthday ever if it only ended about 40 minutes ago lol. That's a great present even if you bought it yourself

I surely hope that it is the post office and not your wife hiding a Christmas present as you mentioned originally. With all of the calls and reporting your doing about this lost MVP2 I'd hate to be your wife if she's got it socked away :/

Rest assured, my wife is sane. She wouldn't go through all that trouble and risk the jobs of all these people who are involved. Also, I never said she was hiding it as a Christmas present. I thought you said that. Finally, my birthday is not until the 4th, or Monday. Should wouldn't have pre-loaded the mail lady to stop by here on Halloween just to give me the impression that the gift I wasn't even supposed to know about had been lost by the Post Office.

I honestly feel like she would have given it to me on Wednesday when it was supposed to have arrived. She has seen me fighting with these egos I have and wouldn't make me pointlessly suffer just to make me wait until my actual birthday. She's OCD, but she's not THAT OCD.

The shipper is the only one who can put in a claim and I have had several email exchanges with Vape 101 and they are spot on with customer service. I hope you let them know and they will take care of the problem for you.

True, true - my mistake, I have Christmas on the brain... you said she may make you wait for your Birthday on November the 4th.
