Just got an MVP2 in today, comming from a Darwin I have owned for over 2 years, loving it so far.
Initial thoughts;
It is a little bigger then I thought it would be.
I think the button is perfect, I like the amount of pressure required, not to much, not to little, just right.
I got the pack that came with 2 iClear16's, I have not been a fan of topcoil tanks in general, much prefer bottom coil, I guess these are kind of a little of both, as it appears one of the two coils is at the bottom of the tank, and ones at the top, but both are fed with long wicks as far as I can tell.
They seem to be working pretty well, but I still prefer the taste of a BCC, call me crazy.
Liking it so far!
Here's my update after owning it and using it exclusively for 4 days.
LOVE it!
Regarding my comment on it being bigger then I was expecting, I guess what I meant was it was thicker then I was expecting. The Darwin I came from is a generally bigger device, but thinner.
In the end the thickness of the MVP2 is perfect, because it provides enough thickness so that big tanks don't look or feel out of place on it.
I still love the button.
Don't think I will be using the iClear16's at all.
I have tested and used on the MVP2; an authentic eGO-C tank/atty system, an EVOD clone made by SMOKtech, and a Vision Victory Tank (a ProTank 1 knock off?).
These have all worked fantastically on the MVP2, better then they ever worked on the eGO batteries I have, airflow and all.
I really like the puff counter. I have not bothered testing the battery till it dies, but lets just say this thing lasts a loooong time, I bet I could get 2k puffs on a charge with my setup, based on what I have seen.
The use I found more handy for the puff counter though, is measuring how many puffs I get for a set amount of eliquid, in all my various tank systems.
So far I have tested the Vision Victory Tank; 1 ml of a high % PG eliquid, with a single coil that reads 2.3 ohm, witht he MVP set at 8.5 watts, gives me approximately 120 puffs on average.
I am gonna test out my other stuff as well, but this tank has been working so well now that I have a decent device behind it, that I just can't stop vaping it
Also wanted to mention my bottom switch protruded out like has been mentioned, I pushed it in with the corner of my darwin
Another thing I have noticed, if it is plugged in to charge, and I push the two buttons to show resistance level and battery voltage, it will show them, then after that it will not show anything no matter what buttons I press, until I unplug it from power.
Not a problem, just something I thought might be worth mentioning.
I am really loving the MVP2!
