For those of you who use the mini PT 2, Is it a much airier draw than an eVod? I have put both on my crappy eVod non-twist battery, and there is a HUGE difference in vapor and throat hit. Much easier with the eVod to get a full draw of vapor, and a satisfactory exhale..... That dissapoints me, as I was really thinking the mini PT 2 would be much better.

Still waiting on my MVP. It's supposed to arrive today, but a blizzard went through last night.......go figure. :(

That is really strange. For the eVod was much more airier draw than my Mini PT tanks. Not only that, I never liked the driptip on the evod, it would collect condensation and kill the vapor before it hit my mouth. I had bought the eVod, because I was worried about breaking my Mini Protanks (one of the two I had bought from Fasttech had already broken)

I eventually ended up giving my eVod's away. I found a retailer who sold authentic Mini Protanks and have never had one break yet.

As far as your eVod's are you sure they are eVod's A lot of T3's are sold as eVod's. I even had a local B&M tell me he had "large evod's" for sale, at which I said huh? He showed them to me and they were T3's.

Another difference could be on the head. The eVod's that I bought came with 1.8ohm heads where as the mini 2's came with 2.5 ohm heads. This would make a HUGE difference on a non-regulated battery

Swap out the Evod head and put it on the Mini PT2 and see what that does for you.

Vaping on an MVP2 with a mini pt2 right now. I usually fire my MVP2 with my thumb or middle finger while using my index finger wrapped around my mini pt2 base to cover one or two of the air holes for a tighter draw.

The "Evod" I got, is about 1/2" shorter than the mini PT2, if you include the bases. It came with 2.2 ohm heads, and the mini didn't specify....I'll have to throw it on my MVP when it gets here, to see what it is. That could definitely be the difference. I was thinking of swapping the bases to check, but I didn't know if they were compatible. I will do that as a test later on!

TY for the tips!

I thought that was it also, since there are 3 air holes compared to the 2 on the Evod. Not a huge difference though. After all the testing this morning, it seems like the mini is getting better. Maybe the coils just needed some "burning" time, before they started performing better....

I did check the authenticity on the mini, and it's legit.

On a side note....I'm loving this chocolate mint juice! ;)

How do you carry the MVP2 with the mini protank II? Is it safe to carry in your pocket with the tank attached, or is there danger of damaging it like this? Waiting on mine to come, hopefully by Monday at the latest and wondering about the best way to carry it.

I stick mine in my shirt pocket. I'd be too afraid of the tank snapping off in a pants pocket.

Have my second MVP on its way right now, I went with the energy series in oak, mainly so I could try the 16b along side the rest if my Iclears. Also have a cool fire 2 with the 30b on the way, I dont like that it is only an 18350 batt, but the grenade looks cool enough to be a nice addition. I am well on my way to having the full "innoken army" line, and I will forever recommend their products especially the MVP.

Mini Protank II is my tank of choice.

Just the right size.. By the time I vape 1.5ml of a flavor, I'm ready for a change of pace. Easy to disassemble and clean. Never have leaked. Replacement heads are dirt cheap and even if you don't recoil them, you can extend their life a long time just by dry burning the coil and replacing the flavor wicks.

Yeah... What he said. I own 4 of the little buggers, and I love them all.

Here's what I use for my MVP 2. It's a old Bar style cell phone case. should be easy to find. Bought mine a Big Lots for a couple of bucks.

I have never noticed anything like that with mine. My wife uses an EVOD on an unregulated ego battery. It is a little harder to pull air through, but I find that it produces much less vapor than my MPT2s. I get nice, tasty, thick clouds with all 4 of my MPT2s. When I draw through them I don't suck on them real hard, I just touch the opening to my lips and draw lightly.

If I weren't at work, I would try to get a photo for you. I've been vaping at my desk at work for 2 months, and nobody has noticed so far. I don't want to draw undue attention taking flash photos. I do love how exhaled vapor stays put where you exhale it. It looks like a rock concert under my desk right now... ;)

Happy New Year, everyone.

I've done several searches trying to find information about this, and I seem to be coming up pretty much empty handed. I'm not really a newbie (and I have computer research skills!), and it frustrates me when I can't find what I think is really basic information!

Love, love, love my MVP2, but don't love the iClear 30 that came with it. I want to love it. Even before buying the MVP2, I came very close to buy a couple of these. At the moment, I'm glad I didn't bother--and I'm glad I didn't bother buying more spare coils for it.

First, let me say that I'm a big believer in cleaning out new tanks before using them--and I did this with the included iClear30. I know a lot of people don't do this, but I just don't completely trust things to be completely clean when they arrive from the factory (I also wouldn't eat off a new dish without washing it--seems like a good analogy to me). I mention that I cleaned this first because I would expect that the cleaning would improve potential problems. When I first filled it, after letting it sit for quite a while, nearly every hit was a dry hit. I'm tilting, and twirling, and this shouldn't be a problem with wicking. . . I finally decided to let it sit overnight. It was moderately better the next day, although I was still getting dry/burned hits especially if I was vaping quite a bit.

I know that most people like this tank. So what I'm looking for are some tips about using it to prevent these problems.

The Aspire is the only clearo I've used that doesn't give me dry hits.

I performed that test. You can put an Evod on a Mini Protank base, but you can't do vice/versa. If you put the Evod on a Mini Protank base, the chimney won't completely seal with the gasket though.

You can't even put a mini protank on the Evod base. The longer chimney of the mini protank bottoms out before you can screw it on.

The heads should be completely swappable though.

Received my MPV2 a week ago. Love it!
I've got quite a few of the USB chargers around the house and on only one I get R Y G G G off sequence. I'm guessing something its not compatible- any one else had this experience?
I just got around to trying the iclear30 on it. Gotta say it's my lease favorite atomizer. The draw is too tight for me and the flavor is a bit lacking. Also the tip heats up, I'm guessing the coil is on top? I only put about 1 mil in it as I'm not sure if I'll keep using it. Does it operate better filled up?

Sent from my phone, please excuse the brevity and typos.

I don't know about your RYGGG off sequence. When that happens, what is the indicated voltage on the battery? (Press and hold both PU simultaneously and it's the second value after the ohm reading)

As far as the IClear 30, Yes, they have to be pretty full. Need plenty of fluid for all those tentacles.......

I use a mini protank II on my MVP as well. I just put it in my shirt pocket, never had any issues. My girlfriend has one on her VV, which she just puts in her purse. She hasn't had any issues either.
