Where are you getting carto's for that price, just got back into tanks and paying over a $1.50 a carto.

MBV (Mt Baker Vapor) sells them at a good price (Boge), and recently I got a 30% of sale price so I bought a lot of them. Usually you can get either smok or Boge in lots of 20 (or more) for under $0.99 most any day of the week.

IBTanked's every day price is $1.35 if you buy 10 or more (not a sale)

I have maybe 200+ cartos as when they get cheap I buy a lot.

Just checked MVP's site, their regular price is $5.99 for a 5 pack, or $1.20 each for Boge - again, not a sale price. Just gotta put in the effort to search for and find sales. During their 30%off sale, that was $0.84 per, no shipping or tax if you bought enough.

Hehe

I own a MVP2 in blue, and would love it but for the hard to fire button (bad hands here), I do own and love my ProVari, and you are correct, it's not any kind of a backup battery. I use my itaste VV for on the go stuff, and my ProVari when at home (I tend to drop stuff). The only downside to the VV in my book is the battery won't make an entire day for me, but a 18650 in my ProVari does (the MVP2 lasts an entire day, but the fire button is a deal breaker to me)

just a tip that helped me with my MVP fire button

cut a piece of double-sided tape (the Thick foam style)

stuck it on the button, then goo gone on the outside 'sticky'

big diff, seems more push leverage and cushioned

maybe give it a try... :2c:

Granted I'm fairly new to vaping. But I've tried so many different toppers, and I hate gurgling, flooding, burt taste, and all those other issues. For me, Nirvana is simply using a carto with a tank. Do all (or none) of your bling in the tank(s) that you buy, learn how to swap cartos on a full tank and life is good. Any issue starts, swap to a new carto and done. Might last 2 weeks, might want to change it out in 3 days. But buy in bulk and save, talking like $0.70 each in bulk. Go with pre-punched cartos or punch your own, you get to choose. I've been doing it this way for the last couple months now and will never look back.

Check out IBTanked, or slapurmama or go high-end and buy a SnP tank - totally up to you, but the vape comes from the carto. Some like one brand over another, but you have choices here too.

Just something to think on...

I use a Smoke-Tech ARO tank.
I have never had the "gurgles", "slurpies" or leaks.
Replacement coils cos about $1.30 each including shippimg and and last several weeks.

AND my juice isn't filtered thru Zippo lighter filler.

Phew! 305 pages but I made it through them all, while using my MVP v2 of course! Lots of good info for this guy and I've ordered parts/pieces based on what I've read already. I only wish I'd found this BEFORE
buying mine from the local b&m but I guess their meals for a few days were on me. :toast:

well welcome to ECF and the MVP club

hats off to ya for making a good choice and reading thru the thread... :toast:

sure you will enjoy it immensely !

Hey guys looking to upgrade to an itaste mvp 2 from a Ego c twist I have a couple questions.

What kinda positives are there in switching (difference between the 2)

And where is a quality site to order based in the USA and good pricing with all colors available?

It's not that I don't want to do any legwork because of have done Alot. I just wanna hear from current owners as well as find a reputable place to support and purchase my itaste thanx guys.

Also check out crazy vapes. They are just a bit cheaper then IBTanked and slapurmama. I have been really impressed with the tank though.

About 5 minutes reading this thread would have been all the leg work you needed:laugh:

The main advantage of the MVP over a twist is the incredibly long battery life. 2600 mah will get your average vaper a day and a half of exclusively vaping the device before recharge. This takes so much of the "am I going to run out" away. Also, it has VW that a lot of people enjoy. I don't really use it myself (I stick with VV) but many people enjoy it. The main advantage of VW to me is that it contains the circuitry for an ohm checker. As you get more in to advanced devices and making your own coils you will find it very helpful. The MVP is also a very durable package. I have managed to kill one so far but that was after many VERY hard drops. I couldn't even tell you how many ego's I destroyed.

Vape 101 and VapeTown have had the best prices on the MVP lately. They have been used by several here and have been found to be fast and dependable. I have never seen a MVP clone posted any where ever.

As far as toppers, it's a personal thing. Your just going to have to try a few different styles and see what works for you. Personally I am old school and like top feeders. I use the Kanger T-2.
