Just an opinion? I have and love the itaste VV3, I have and would love the itaste MVP2 but the fire button is too stiff for my bad hands.

I also own a ProVari, and while the ProVari is roughly 3X the price of the MVP2, it is also about 3X the quality. Honestly, I do not know of any ProVari owner that would compare the two as apples to apples. Am not throwing stones, only trying to be real.

So you like your Provari good deal no need to come into an mvp thread to sell us on it

I was with a friend tonight and he showed off his new sigelei Legend. What a silly device.

You have to shake it side to side to enter in the setup mode, then you have to rotate the device either to the right or the left to make adjustments.

It looks well built, but the Legend seems ...

man what a cool device - Sigelei Legend -
electro-gadgetry looks like a evic tronics
THEN I WATCHED PBusardos review wah-wah

yeah, they can keep it

UN interesting to me...

I have a new MVP2 that should be in my mailbox tomorrow. As a 40-something woman, I always thought these looked like such a "guy thing." But, after all the reviews and youtube videos, I have to admit I'm pretty excited for this vape mail. This is my first step up from an ego twist. I work at home, so this will work out great for me. I'll still take the twists when I go run errands.

I loved how he described what happens if you have some e-juice down in the recesses of the device and then shake....The basset hound slobber was classic.

I feel bad for the guy, I got him on an itaste vv3, which he really liked but he lost it and needed something right away. So he went to the B&M and looked at what they had and they had the legend and they had a itaste 134, but they were asking over 160 bones for it.

He went with the Legend at just over 100 bones.

I've always mentioned there are no right or wrong APV's just what is right to you. But I can't help feel he got a little jobbed.

The legend can out power the MVP2, especially when you use two stacked 18350's but he doesn't really do high voltage vaping and his sweet spot is about 8 watts, so he's not even using the expanded range of the device.

Just goes to show how important backups are. I have three fully functioning APV's If one dies, I am always able to get one ordered in with no loss and no need to pay double at my B&M for a replacement device....

hello, welcome to the club

ya know I still really enjoy all my ego's along with my MVP
it is so drastic going from one to another

the egos are like toys, they charge/discharge so qwik
while they sit charging, I peer down at them,
laffing thru a thick cloud of vapor from the 'magic-box' that is tightly gripped in my hand...

I always have an ego in my shirt pocket
with an evod or T3s attached
to play with in case I can't reach my MVP

I'm not saying it has the build quality of the Provari. I was simply saying that it has pulse modulation like the Provari that keeps a consistent voltage. It doesn't rattlesnake. There's very few APV's at this price range you can say that about, the Vamo being one. That's a lot of what sold me on the MPV. I want a consistent vape.

The only dual coil BCC i've tried was the Iclear 16. I was not impressed.

The thing went like juice like a shop-oholic on "Black Friday", the heads were twice as expensive and the vapor flavor was not much more than my Mini PT 2.

Now that they have the Mini PT 3, I'm not sold. I love Kanger, but I really don't see the big thing about dual coil.

To get a 1.5 ohm dual coil, you need to run 2 3 ohm coils in parallel. Power is going to be divided evenly, so each coil will fire as if it's a 3 ohm coil. So if you set your MVP to 8 watts, it will calculate the 1.5 ohm resistance and fire off at 3.46 volts.

3.46 volts will be supplied to each coil, so you get 4 watts at each coil.

Thus to get the same heat and throat hit on a dual coil unit, You have to run the battery at higher voltage and higher wattage.

So explain to me again dual coil advantages?

    1. I use twice as much juice per puff
    2. Coils are twice as expensive
    3. I have to stress my battery and use a higher voltage and wattage for a given temperature and flavor.

The only winners here are the juice manufacturers, coil manufacturers, and battery manufacturers.

    Someone tell me I'm wrong.....

I can't for the life of me see how people can refer to the MVP as low quality, or for that matter the SVD and V3.

I've been using the MVP almost exclusively for some time now and for me it's got all the goodies and performs very well.
No issues with the SVD or V3. No I don't have a Provari and will not get one or consider one unless they do more than offer color selection.
Just doesn't do it for me.

You Provarians like/love your Provari's, that's super, you have found your holy grail. I'm still searching. In the meantime all my gear is great, won't push any of them on anyone.

You like something, buy it, that simple. And yes I'm aware all that the Provari offers.

Okay, so got my MVP this morning and....I love it lol. Looks much better in person, and feels great in the hand. I won't lie, I do prefer the tube look still but the MVP certainly looks cool. The vape production is just insane, upped it to 8 watts and found I got a burnt taste after a few vapes so downed it to 7.5 and it's just right. The throat hit is twice or three times that of my old Ego. Fantastic performance.

    HOWEVER

The Iclear is just terrible. Or at least that's been my experience with it. Leaks from the drip tip despite only filling it halfway. The flavour is just terrible, muted and at times metallic. My new TS3 (love that clearo for flavour by the way) gave me a nice clean flavour especially with my my fav Blueberry flavour. The iclear gives a much duller and dry flavour. Not nearly as refreshing. I will say however that the draw is perfect, not too airy and not too tight, a big improvement on the Protank and TS3. The vapour is great too. Just a shame that the flavour is so bad.

I am also having a slight problem. The iclear and my standard CE4's work fine. However the TS3 refuses to fire, I just get a NON reading, so it's not reading the atty. Is there a way to fix this?. The atty is 1.8ohm so it's not that.

Despite this, the MVP is a fine fine device ad I'm very chuffed I got it. VERY well built and a massive improvement on my standard Ego. I am now a member of the MVP club lol.

On some of the kanger tanks, like the evod, the ego threads are a little too short so the eGo thread adapter bottoms out on the MVP before you make contact with the battery.

Some people tell you to try and pry the center pin on the battery up, but I always avoid making that suggestion since if I'm gonna mess with something, it's gonna be a $1.25 atty head, not a $40.00 plus battery.

    So heres the solution.

take your tank off the MVP and remove the head. On the bottom of the head is a little metal knob that has a white silicone piece above it.

This knob is simply pressure fit into the head. If you pull down on that knob "just a little bit" (like a mm or so) then you will often extend the bottom of the head sufficiently to make contact with the center pin.

This knob is rather "long" relatively speaking so you can pull it quite a bit without affecting too much... But again, really all you should need to adjust it is the thickness of a fingernail.

After lots of trial, I found the Kayfun or Russian 91 to be the ultimate topper for my MVP2
After carrying an extra Evod and juice and hoping my 100 VG juices wouldn't clog, even with my rebuilt microcoil heads, I finally head out for the day without a care

I'll just be happy if I can get the TS3 to fire. Got it with the MVP 2 this morning and tried it on my Ego and it gives me perfect flavour with my Blueberry juice. Nice and clean and tangy. This iclear is just really muted.

    Will try this. Thank you.

Cannon't wait to try the TS3 on my MVP. The flavour was great on the Ego so dread to think what it'll be like on the MVP. Best clearo I've used by far for flavour and vapour. The draw is a little airy like most Kanger stuff but the flavour is just gorgeous.

I am not an exclusive MVP user and have become very fond of my Sigelei mech mod for home topped with an Igo W with dual micro coils at .5 ohms and haven't found anything close as far as taste and vapor production, but there is a lot to be said about headed out for the day with a mod that doesn't tip over, doesn't need me to carry extra batteries, and gives me lots of options to find the sweet spot in my volts depending on what juice I am vaping.

I must admit, however, a Provari is in my future

    Totally agree.
I bought a Trident clone that would never fire and the store suggested pulling up the pin on my MVP, which I didn't do as all my other attys fired perfectly.
Once the pin came loose on the Trident, it went in the trash
