How long have you owned it? Is it still under warranty?

This is an Ohm meter/Volt meter and will test your devices volts under load: The Omnitester

You can find it cheaper on ebay..

Oh I got ya. I'll pick one up. I've had this for probably 2.5-3 months max. I assume it is still under warranty. I'll contact the seller. I might take it up to the local b&m and see what they have to say. Only problem is I didn't buy it from them.

Thats why I asked... You are not suppose to drain it flat. No Li-Ion batt likes that. They are like lead-acid batts in that respect.

Just trying to figure it out, man.
Thanks, appreciate it. :) Didn't mean to come across as touchy, remember I'm across the pond and typing doesn't always mirror what someone tries to say.

So sorry for your bad experience with Innokin Steve. I understand your frustration and I would probably feel the same. Good luck, hope you have no more problems with whatever you get. Hana Modz looks good!

pardon the typos, on my phone :)
They're bl**dy pricey, may opt for a couple of Cloupor's instead, the girlfriend is bound to want a red one, lol

Thanks for the input, appreciate it. :)

Yep. Only reason I'm starting DIY is for my home roasted Sumatran coffee and to try Lapsang Souchong tea.

Yum Sumatra is my fav coffee!

Look what just came today!!! I'm so loving the sparkles!!!

I honestly was worried that I wouldn't like a box mod but I really am not having any issues with that at all!!!

Sexy!

Yeah I did that once. Will try it again tonight. And I'm at the same exact settings I was before I ever had these issues.

Just to cover all the possibilities, suppose it it stuck on watts or volts. Whichever button, p or u, that you press last is supposed to be what it is using. So when you press the p and then the u, what numbers are displayed (after the puff count)?

@SteveMc I had one that wouldn't charge but it was under the 3 month warranty and I got it exchanged. That definitely gave me a bad feeling until I got it replaced. I've had egos only last 6 months and less. I've got a couple of 18350s and wonder how long they will last but they are less than $10 each.

I would take yours apart and see if the usb charger board can be fixed or replaced.

Puff count is now showing 0 since I cycled it on/off again but on a 1.6 ohm coil it shows voltage set at 3.6 volts. When I switch over to watts it shows 7.5. It has yet to change from what I set it at.

3.6 seems ok but I don't like 7.5 with most toppers. Did you try lower settings or maybe the lowest, just for shiggles and gits?

Yeah same thing. And that brings up another point...most topers are dual coil now days. So with mvp set at 8 watts, each coil should only be running at 4 watts each. That is a very cool vape. Is my math wrong or is something different about dual coil toppers that make them different?

Thats about right, but, they dont seem to work that way in practice.. it seem I cant go much higher than I can with a single coil.

That was always my experience with my aspire tanks. Wasn't until I got some 2.0 ohm dual coil cartos for my ibtank that I ran into the coil heat issue. The vape store didn't have single coils so the sales girl offered to let me try the 1.2 ohm dual coil cartos. They worked pretty well at first but I was pushing the 3 amp limit running them at 3.6 volts. After a day of running it thats when the extreme throat hit/lack of vapor started. Then all the problems with the aspire coils. My theory is that running at the amp limit may have done some kind of damage even though I never received any error messages. I contacted the seller and I should be able to send this back and get it exchanged. I bought it at the very end of march.

Something else I just thought of....when I originally received my mvp one of the top parts of the numbers on the display was not showing up. So 1.7 looked like 1.1, 1.9 looked like 1.4. I contacted him then and he offered to exchange it for me. I decided not to send it back since the unit was performing so well. Looking back I should have sent it in. This could be totally unrelated though.
