Hey gang, my buddies wife picked up a mvp 2 and had some questions for the long time owners

1) Does the battery have memory? IE should it be fully discharged before recharging? Ive never owned a mod with a LiPo so I told her I wasnt sure.

2) Assuming no abuse what is the expected lifespan of the device?
I told her I have heard of a few unlucky owners having them crap out after just a few months but could swear some have had them for a year plus and still kicking.

TIA

The battery does not have a "memory". Just charge it before it gets to red. And let it fully charge before taking it off the charger. It helps the life expectancy.

No way to tell how long they will last. They haven't been out long enough for any long term opinions. Though there are still many first gens going strong. I'd expect at least a year before the battery starts not holding a charge. That is if nothing else goes wrong. I had one of mine die within a month. Just completely stopped working. Our other two are fine.

is that price from F.T.?

looked at one at Angel C. and they want 30.00, been wanting one for my Novice....the video i watched on it was awesome

I saw it on 'Vapor Joes' website but didn't even check who was offering it , looks like FT as some already noted. Man, why can't we have a Fasttech in the USA that ships in under two days , how awesome would that be lol.

I would think that with all the 30w clones at $50-70 that MVPs might drop in price and VTRs are obsolete.

A VTR is still one of the sharpest looking mods you can buy. If the MVP price ever hits $24.95 i will be forced to buy another even if the new model is out.

everybody needs an MVP and a Tobh, Tobh, Tobh, Tobh, Tobh, Tobh....that's my brain chiming in synchronicity.....all hail & Praise the MVP and the Tobh, Tobh, Tobh, Tobh, Tobh, Tobh....all that matters to me now is the MVP and the Tobh, Tobh, Tobh, Tobh, Tobh, Tobh....Nirvana, finally :vapor::D

Get a hold of yourself Sando , shake it off, i think you may have temporarily slipped out of reality:danger:, but hopefully your back . Tobh = no comprendo8-o:ohmy:

I have to admit when I read about the MVP2 I was sceptical
Well since i got mine im a believer
With heavy use it lasts me two to three days between charges Ive dropped it once or twice already and it still works
I have yet to go above 8 watts to hit the sweet spot of any of my juices

For the price its an amazing piece of equipment

I bought a Vamo V5 yesterday if it turns out as good as the MVP I will be very happy

    Hi I'm Celtic. *Waves*

I haven't got my MVP's yet. I have to do a job to get the $$$ first but I am planning on getting 4.:D
I know, I know "What in the world do you need four for?!?"

:lol::lol: Two for me and two for my Fiance. I am currently watching every vid on Youtube on the MVP2 and all about VV/VW stuff. I waited a whole year and now I am jumping off the bridge head first so to speak. I have also been lurking on this thread for the last month and have finally gotten so impatient that I just had to say something: I want to do this job so I can finally get my MVP"S!!!!!!

    Sorry.:blush::p

I will be posting again when I actually order them so y'all can help me wait for them.:D
