Well folks.. As some of you may know, my wife was having some medical problems and her doc sent her to the ER Thursday... During the CT scan, they found a Pancreatic Cyst. Well, today, we just got the news that her blood work shows 4 elevated cancer markers (19-9 very high)...


I dunno... thought I say something... I prolly wont be around much...

Thank you for telling us. I hope you know lots of positive thoughts will be coming your way from everyone here. From experience, I know that illness can take its toll on a family, not just the patient, so remember to be kind to yourself if you can. We are here if you just need to talk about it.

Our thoughts and prayers go with you and your wife. My sister has stage 4 now everywhere. It is a tough road.

I went to see Dave Matthews Band last night, first time with the MVP in a large public forum. Blowing some big clouds, got people curious, might have even made a couple converts, odd. Oh, by the way, the DMB show was amazing. Some people next to us were smoking odd to think that was me.

This one time I went to go see dmb.. Ate some fungus.. After the show i realize I lost my wallet with a whole paycheck in it...


On a brighter note.. But first a discrepancy.. I bought a ohm meter today for atomizers.,(ego 510 and 808) the coil I built was .98 on it but reads as .8 on mvp (lowest it will fire) , just curious why the difference.. I cleaned the firing pin area on the MVP with alcohol and hot water.. But sane difference...

That said... Happiest over been on a coil and wick.. Even if,i had to ugly the coil a lil to get right ohm...

Very sorry to hear that pal , i have dealt with some incredibly difficult happenings in my life so i know how tough it can be .

It's extremely important to stay optimistic no matter how bad it may seem because it can actually make a significant difference , never throw in the towel .I personally know more than a few that have beaten seemingly impossible odds and the power of prayer is for real

Please stay strong and try to recognize when your mind drags you into the negative , being able to quickly realize when this happens and putting a quick stop to it is key to preventing it from completely taking over your thoughts .

Similar to how some beat depression.

Dave Matthews , not my kind of tunes but glad you enjoyed it , i wonder what looks you would get if you broke out something like a Nemesis and started fogging up the entire arena , bet you could of made a killing if you had some for sale lol.

I assume fungus will not be on the menu in the future , i have been able to refrain (although it sounds so appetizing so it is quite difficult) and i bet you could too .

Can't help you with the coil part , just the fungus.

Midnight...a friend of mine age 53 just passed last night after a stroke last week. He left a Beautiful wife and 2 boys, 11 and 8. I hope that all of us can celebrate life to the enth degree and cherish those that bring a glow to the world around them.
A sturdy dose of life is what we have been given and prayers should abound by those that feel and have felt this type of pain.

I have a nimbus rda on the way to top my MVP with, and was looking into some other rda's (the Patriot for example), never had any before....but all I am seeing is people talking about sub ohming on them....I am not one to go there...so am I looking in the wrong direction to top my MVP with an RDA? I have seen people on here topping theirs with them but not what they are running in it.

put you a 1.5 coil on that bad boy and rock it....the Nimbus is a fine little dripper with great flavor you might need to drill the holes out if you like lung-hitting, which most do

your gonna need 2 atty's, your Nemi will run great between .6 & .8

...on the MVP i wouldn't go under 1.3 and you'll be maxed... and smaller RDA's like the Nimbus work perfect on it.

28ga kanthal dual coil-7 wraps on a 1/8th bit should give ya about 0.75
28ga kanthal single coil- 10 wraps on a 3/32 bit should put ya around 1.3 or so
heat & pinch tight and wick w/cotton

That's a tough one. I'd say you want to hit 1.5ohm. Anything above that wont be particularly satisfying on a mech mod and the MVP will still produce about 3.9V with a 1.5ohm coil. 1.5ohm would probably be about 6-7 hand wraps on doubled 2mm silica give or take.

If you are going to use cotton and double vertical micro coils, you'd need to get Two coils of 3ohm each. Remember double coils fire at half the resistance of single coils.

You can use this coil calculator to estimate what a coil is going to be. Always check it with a multimeter after you make the coil. Make two coils as identical as possible of 3.0 or higher. Two 3.0 will be 1.5 on the device. That will work fine on the MVP but the battery will run down faster than a single coil.

You are better with a single coil. For duals on an MVP you have to make really large coils and the heat up time is really long. If you are comfortable you can search for infinity coil. It is basically a single coil split in half with two wicks.
