How do you get your coil in the center? Is your positive lead longer or...?

Yup. Pos leg is longer. still fires great, sits in a,better place on the deck for the wick and airflow. Give er,a, try one day ;)

OK, got the nano kit for my Kay fun and so excited...BUT! Cannot get it to fire on MVP or VV3. A long green light and no fire on both.
Fired on my Mech though.
Noticed the O ring on the top portion of Kayfun is missing.
The one that seats the chimney top to the top cap on KFL.

Am I shorting thru the small chimney n top of Kayfun?

Sorry to ask the MVP folk, but ya all are like family.

Reassembled with standard tank sections and works fine...what the hay!!!!

What is it about new nano kit that wont allow it to work?

On a side note, the Stillare is my new favorite RDA!!!

It Rocks on my Mech!!!

only possibility could be the ‘positive’ pin making contact (with something)
the coil to wide or high ? (a vertical coil?)
the chimney ‘chamber’ cut too narrow or short ?
but if it works the ‘other’ way, it has to be the positive pin/coil contacting

:?:

There it is.. Best I can get... And shown firing so you can see the leg isn't firing, just the coil.

Wasn't on purpose , it wouldn't tighten down unfortunately and fell out .

Tried every hardware store within a 70 mile radius the last two days, not a single one carries them that size.

FatDaddyVapes has 1 dozen bags for $3.99.

We have a WINNER! He is seeing a closed short not an open contact. I would say it is in the unit somewhere. If it is out of warranty then it's time to grab a number 7 torx and have a go at opening her up and see if you can visually locate a touching wire out of place in there.

T6 Torx (I have one right here and just double-checked. ;) )

Better hurry.. I think he's already outta the KF's...

I picked up a Copper and Brass Nemesis and SS King..

That figures: I've been thinking about getting a brass Nemesis to play around with some slightly toxic patina/coloring chemicals...I just don't have any cash right now.

ain't nothing like the Tobh on a mec, it's about like the Nimbus on the MVP......Rock City!

and the APO ain't shabby at all

I Have two Tobh's one silver 1 brass and a brass Quasar. Also just got an Origen. All 1:1 clones Trident V2 on the way. Quasar and Tobh are awesome. Origen still tinkering with but pretty nice. And my Patriot works very well after I drilled air holes. Would also Like a Stillare, and the Magma. I have 4 Mechs now But still rock my MVP's with Kayfuns.:vapor: Nothing like dripping.

Puff, it is the weirdest thing. Has nothing to do with the coil. KFL works fine with standard parts, but as soon as I put nano kit on I get this long green light on MVP and VV3.

I have never seen a long green light on MVP before. input the standard parts back on and it works fine.

Dano, you gotta get a Still are! Got mine from FT and I absolutely love it. Patriot is a back up now...with the 2 huge holes I had to drill for sub ohm on my mech.

Still just the one mech for me...I have done well avoiding "shiny new" sickness :) The Stillare is so good I am thinking of getting a couple more, I love the airflow control and no more drilling. Do they make them in Copper?

Yes, I boiled it for 10 min., which didn't help, but I took a pin and pushed it through the air holes and that did it. Caramel flavor is clogging it, I have another Aro filled with black licorice, which is a lot thinner juice without a problem.

so did ya figure out your SMOK ARO draw...?

that is weird, but all it could be is the positive block and or the coil making contact
of the nano kit (due to fact other works fine)
should be able to detect without assembling and filling
just put chimney ‘chamber’ on, test fire
then add chimney top, test fire – I said ‘coil’ thinking maybe you have a
nice big vertical coil built which is as tall as chimney cap
you think if a bad fit, you would notice it as assembling
keep us informed, curious about this…

hummmmmm…, caramel in air hole ; which air hole are you refering to
that you poked a pin thru ??

I don’t recommend ‘boiling’, hot tap water plenty... 

Someone on a thread I posted in General suggested boiling. I poked the air holes on the sides of the nut (?) on the bottom of the tank.
