ya know I Can't Find It Again... ?

I seldom go to the main lobby / front page area (mostly new posts)

but there it was at the top

it stood out because it looked funny, blank without comments and such

from Rolygate (name & avatar), I seen todays date and like - "till 9-12-2014"

so I don't know what to say

I read it, copy/pasted it right in this thread...?

Hey Spooky (and other new guy that I noticed about 6 pages back whom I've forgotten your name :() Dang, y'all are BUSY overnight.

Welcome to the MVP club! I have a pair (one at the office and one at home) backed up by VV3s (again, one at office, and one at home)

Guys (Puf, Keirster, Donesmokin, Paul, Herb, Midnite, and all you others who've been so helpful and kind with my silly questions) I keep seeing all these other "shinies" that you keep referencing, and I just don't know about pulling the trigger on any of them. Maybe I'm a "plain Jane" and I'm settled into my "vaping comfort" zone. I'm still working on my kayfuns - trying to find a build that rocks my world. Just started DIY'ing my juice. Haven't delved into drippers (maybe I just like the convenience of having a loaded tank and not having to constantly refill?) Believe it or not, I am quite pleased with my army of EVOD tanks (donesmokin, I just tore down and rebuilt about 6 brand new kanger heads last night with your cellucotton :D) I even tried something goofy last night. Had a couple of too-thin wisps of wick and an empty kf deck, so I threaded them into the coil together and split the tails like this:

It seems to be working well, and I haven't gotten any burnt hits yet!

This momma turns the big five-oh in a couple of months - I am prolly gonna treat myself to "something" (I'll be seven months smoke-free by then) and I should be past my "break-even" point of cost of cigs compared to cost of gear. I'm looking at a new MVP (energy line), but part of me wants something *MORE* - I just don't know what that is.... I reply to newbies' questions about "What should I get?" I don't know what else is out there (mostly because I haven't wanted to spend insane amounts of money until I "even out" what I would have spent on smokes.) In my head, I feel like I need to "perfect" my kf builds in order to truly enhance my vaping experience - but why should I drop $180 on a Provari when my MVP and an EVOD keeps me away from cigarettes? Would I really get more flavor/vapor with something different?

My local B&M is good (juices are AMAZING), but it just seems so much more geared to "starter" devices. They have some mech mods (which truthfully, I'm not sure I want in my arsenal.) I wish I could have a "vape meet" with you guys - you're so much more informative!

Sorry for the ramble. I feel like this thread is my "home base", and you always have such excellent advice to share....

As I have posted already, I am spoiled by the MVP at $40. Everything I look at is with that in mind. I want a dose of nic to keep the cravings away. I want to simulate the act of smoking. I want the least amount of fiddling and cleaning and leaking. I have found toppers that work for my situation. They work well at 7-10 watts. Most all VV/VW tubes that are under 20w are over $40. They all seem to have complaints about button failures. The latest version of the Sigelei Zmax seemed to have the most improvements and least amount of problems. Desert Vapes has them for under $50 and sometimes has 10 or more % discount sales. It can use 18350, 18490/18500, 18650 and stacked 18350s. It works for me and doesn't rattle. I like the feel, size and weight. I like the looks of the round top.

The MVP is still a better deal unless the MVP lasts 6 months and the Zmax lasts for years.

Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
A great number of years ago, Purdue University thought it was appropriate to bestow a degree in Electrical Engineering on me, and ELECTRICITY SCARES ME TOO!!!!

In one of my former lives, I attempted to come up with a "Light Emitting Resistor", but marketing was kinda tough :D

LoL, i worked with wiring for awhile until i got zapped due to my color blindness , not being able to tell what color the wires your working on is a recipe for death .

I was lucky, but i worked with a guy named Dan and are job was to service those large Hobart commercial dishwashers and commercial laundry operations at restaurants and retirement homes.

Well Dan got hit by much higher voltage than he expected one day (carelessness i suppose ) and it actually blew his shoes right off his feet , no joke . He was very lucky to survive , i quickly said i'm out of here to that job lol.

Hold on there's more , i also witnessed a young girl get hit and unfortunately killed by lightning while she was shell collecting at the waters edge on a beach down here in N.C a few years back , that really shook me up , i still can't get it out of my mind , so yeah , electricity scares me.

Holy cow! I've heard about people getting stung like that. Scary amazing.

Well doggone it. I've been watching strictlyecig and their dwindling stock of MVPs. They only had a few of the color I've been eyeballing so i jumped. Threw in a chameleon VV3 while I was at it. Only money, right?

Puf, I'll put your name on that one, but I think I still want something else for the Octoberfest. :D

Sent from.... ooh look! Something shiny!!!

Yep, still the champ for my Kayfun. They don't need high wattage, just consistency with the device and MVP does that as well as any device out there.

FLAT SIGNAL is the key to the MVP success. That's why I chose it too. Doesn't blow my heads vaping at mid voltage. AND the passthrough! Yesterday I plugged into the car and vaped away with no cares. All I have nowadays is passthrough but this one has it all in one piece. Make it go to 6v and I'm done!

Its in one of the new noobie Help sections... people are getting tired of every cry for help with an eGo being answered with 'buy a mech!'..

so i wonder if it applies to us also since we use rda/rba's for our beloved MVP......and our occasional mech's

The pass through is one of, if not my favorite feature, of my MVP. I have a charger at home, work and car. Always able to charge when needed and it is always within 3 feet of my person at all times ;)

IMHO, the Kayfun and MVP are one of the best combinations in vaping.

2 very well made devices. Can't wait to see what the MVP 3 will offer.
