Do I need to freeze the nic base for it to last? I currently keep my e-liquid in a dark, cool basement.

That might be OK for a year, maybe even two. But for peace of mind vapocalypse stashing, like @Territoo said, in glass, in freezer. If you plan on vaping nic for years into the future. If you plan on vaping for only a year or two and quitting or going 0mg, then you could chance a cool, dark basement, but I personally would still use glass.

Some people here do use mason cars, but they are a bit harder to power out.

Just so you know, the listing doesn't say that the caps are polycone caps. In the pic they don't appear to be polycone caps, just regular old plasticized cardboard gasket caps, but hard to tell.

I am so fortunate that the ban vape ''madness'' haven't landed here in S.A. YET , there is a buzz around it and talks about regulating vape but nothing concrete , a lot of vapers have imported loads of juice from USA to avoid the postal ban.

I know I should just jump into mixing, ugh.

It's not difficult to make vape juice. I can mix up a 120ml in short order and I pick the flavors. Using 100mg/ml nicotine, for a 120ml sized batch, 7.2ml of nicotine base gets you close to 6mg/ml once you add the flavors and diluent. Easy peasy.

But I would Highly Advise that you buy some Nicotine Base and put it in Glass Bottles in your Freezer as soon as you can.

Been doing diy for a while now and have ample supply of nic , vg and pg + flav's .Here in S.A during the tobacco ban/lockdown we went underground and got juice from fellow mixers / suppliers . They tried to undermine us but it made us stronger .

What is so disconcerting is that South Africa - [miles away and considered a 3 rd world country ] is accepting vaping as a reality instead as a threat , our govt is talking about regulations and tax instead of killing a whole industry of small/med enterprises , trying to ''help'' smokers quit ,Is big tobacco so POWERFUL in the US ? But you Also have to remember that Many US Elected Officials are using e-Cigarettes as a Tool to Gain Popularity/Votes.

First you Demonize the Hell out of e-Cigarettes. Using Slanted Studies and Skewed Data.
Then you Create a Media Push that e-Cigarettes are Evil and are Harming People. Especially Kids.
Then You, as an Elected Official, come Crashing in to Save the Day like a Super Hero with Bans and Punitive Taxes.

It's a Time Honored Technique. And the More Sway you have in the Media, the Better it Works.
