Ok so,
Already posted here in the "cleaning atomizers threads" and stuff and then already seen some people happy with the methode. But i want to give a review of my almost two months using this.
So first of all I went to this forum and read about the cola methode and tried it. Been like Ohhh cool they give much more vapour but after two or three days they gave me that burning smell and taste we all know. SO I thought about the lemon juice (well known for cleaning metal) with a little bit of salt in boiling water. So it's been almost two months now, done that treatment 3 time around and everytime my atomizers go clean and shiny like new and giving a lot more vapour....
It doesn't seem to have influence on the hardware.. I also cleaned a dying battery with pipe cleaner and a little lemon juice on the inside rinsed with water and it's brand new now....
I let lou decide...:)

Yeah maybe it would be sufficient but the salt get more inside the cleaning I think. Anyway I got My Evo almost two mounths ago and with this methode I didnt loose one atomizer I got. I've lost one battery but strictly because it was faulty but on the 5 atomizers I got none died...
But You're right lemon on itself is a great metal cleaner.

The trouble with the lemon juice is that it just doesn't work for us all..... it's possibly because of variations in the juice brands or the flavourings that we use, it's also possibly to do with different models of atomizer's or voltages there are so many possible variables............ We need a cleaner that works across all the variables or else we need to eliminate all the variables.

What was the verdict on the phosphoric acid?

I haven't tried the high strength phosphoric acid myself but I know that 25% doesn't 'dissolve' the black gunk. The best any of the cleaners seem to do is to break some of it up, which can help a bit but still doesn't give us the 'ideal' cleaner.

I'm giving the lemon juice method a try on my first m401 atomizer. If I remember, I'll report back.

I also have just put a new atomiser on my PiLOT the difference is amazing! The draw is so much easier, the juice has much more flavour and i actually get a throat hit so i know the old atomiser isn't performing anymore.

I just filled a littlt pot with pure lemon juice and i plan to leave it there for at least 15 hours, ill report back myself if anyones interested what the result is.

Cheers Lee.
