crftbrands.com has additional sites. They're still asking for an unadulterated copy of ID along with a selfie w/ID. In addition, their Policies and ToS links are dead.

crftinc.com
crftco.com
crftlabs.com

Out of the blue, I started getting what I call junk mail from them. I have never ordered anything from them ever. I am not sure how they got my e-mail address, but just for that reason, I don't think I would ever use them. :2c:

Yeah, the fact that their Policies and ToS pages are dead is a definite clue to stay far away from 'em. Hard to say where they obtained your email address from, but there are tons of companies out there that make it their business to obtain and sell that info.

I sure hope you are wrong because I placed an order with them. :?:

They offer free shipping w/tracking, take Paypal, and got straight A's on SSL Labs test. ;)

They're most likely legit with some shady practices. I don't trust any site that has dead links to their Policies or ToS, nor do I trust a business if their registration information is masked.

Hey TM, I made purchases from Ahlusion in September and November 2016, and in February 2017. All I had to do (in Sept.) was provide my DOB prior to checkout. Since I always log in to my account when making a purchase, I am now "on file" as OLD ENOUGH :D and no longer need to do anything for AV.

Their website now indicates they use AgeChecker.net for AV (may have always & only used them since 8/08/16).

I am sorry to report, however, that Vermillion River was using BlueCheck as of late 2016, and it totally sucked. I hope Gus has changed it by now, or will soon. :(

I've added VapingBest to the AV list as Unknown. They are a Chinese vendor with a US warehouse.

I wasn't sure I should add them but decide I would since they have a US warehouse. Thoughts?

If
it were my excellent list (which, of course, it's not)...and if I wanted to make it valuable to even more vapers...I'd list all the sites that I had AV info on...and just put an * next to the non-US sites...

[There seem to be more and more non-US posters...(especially Canadian...where shipping from US sites is high)...around ECF these days.]

Thanks for your input gerry. :)

This list was created because of new US laws. I don't know what the laws are in other countries. I'm still not sure I want to go down that road. Lets consider this subject "open to discussion" and if the majority want foreign vendors on the list I'll reconsider.

Actually, I was thinking about taking VapingBest off the list because my order is coming from China. I was curious if they really had a US warehouse and now I'm thinking they don't. What I ordered wasn't anything special and items that I would think they would stock in the US. It makes me wonder.

Good question, tm.

From their site:
About vapingbest
Vapingbest is an international e-cig online store based in China and ship orders from our China and USA warehouse. our goal is to offer good prices for all vaping products with fast shipping and best customer service . We only sell Authentic products from the official team/factory, we do not sell fake/clone products.

(emphasis mine)

Not sure it would make sense for them to have different requirements depending on which warehouse the items ship from, so maybe they use, say, shipping address to decide (automatically?) whether or not to require proof of age?

And that could be pertinent to Gerrymi's comments about "foreign" sites. As in some do (require) and some don't?

(Talk about a can of worms......)
