I got the same one! My shopping addiction hasn't been too bad lately so I don't feel horrible for ordering. :)

I hope someone puts up a video so I know how to do this and what/where to buy.

I'm getting 34g wire and braided cotton wick on ebay. Stuff's crazy cheap!

SO, now that I'm buying support stuff for the Chalice (wick and wire) I'm wondering if I should throw some money at those 2-cent fuse jobbies for short protection. Having never done the rebuild thing before, I'm concerned that I'll mess something up and start melting springs... so I guess my question is, will the 2-cent fuse protect my REO in this situation, and will one fit in a Grand without overcompressing the spring in the process?

Dave, the 2 cent fuse protectors work in a Grand with the 18650 batteries, but will not work with the NI-MH batteries. Much too tight with my fave lil green batteries. Ive got some photos in this thread.http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/300415-mod-fuse.html. I haven't tried it with the VV woods, but my guess is it's a no go on them also as the spring is pretty compressed without it.

The fuse things. Don't you pitch them after you get a short, and have to get a new one? Maybe the springs are cheaper?

Anyone else get the email on the delayed shipping?
Yep, they're meant to be tossed as soon as they trip, but that saves you having to replace the spring. REO springs cost 4 bucks, I assume the 2-cent fuses cost considerably less. I'll have to look into it.

I am sort of glad shipping is delayed. I will be away for a few days next week and did not want it to arrive while I was gone.
However, I worry, just a little, we are being scammed.
They will ship eventually won't they?
I doubt seriously that we're being scammed. Mark Bugs has a name and reputation, and have had at least 1 lawyer in on their beta testing. Bringing a new product to market is a dicey proposition at all times, even more so when you have external dependencies (like special packaging that doesn't get delivered on time). Patience, grasshopper. Patience.

Since I discovered the 1.7ohm shorty cartos, my 4.8v batts have sat unused and dejected on a shelf over my desk. I don't think they're going to get any more play from me, I've grown accustomed to only having to swap AW IMR's once a day.

Can someone please inform me where to buy supplies and what supplies to get? Sorry...I'm new to this!
Go to ebay and search for "34 gauge resistance wire" and "braided cotton wick". I got 25 feet of each, shipped, for a total of 6 bucks.

Last night I practiced wrapping coils. Since I don't have any of the actual stuff yet, I used electrical tape and my cat. Yes, I'm kinda scratched up today.

Dave! I spewed my coffee!
Did you soak kitty in some VG to check how well absorption was?
